The journal relates to the topic of woman empowerment and economic development.
Development alone plays a vital role in ensuring people value equality in society. Development
starts with valuing others regardless of sex, gender, color, and age. Everybody is given an equal
opportunity to showcase their prowess in shaping the economy of a country. In a different
perception, empowering women results in development, there will be more dynamic progression
because each member regardless of gender will be required to work as per the rules and
regulations of companies in a country. This is what will bring about development.
The journal address the question asked as per the above explanation which is, "Can be
punishing of woman empowerment affect the development? And vice versa. The journal urges
that the two sides are too weak to remain independent, there is a need of continuous
implementation of policies, rules, and laws which tries to address the issue of inequality between
male and women. Bangladesh seems less effective compared to other OECD countries in
matters related to woman empowerment. Companies should adopt the practice of countries such
as the UK, US, France and more states which have enacted rules to give equal weight to women
and men. The culture of Bangladesh cannot allow a woman to be on the same scale as a man;
therefore, rules will help to force managers and private company owners to view a lady just as
they see men. They both can make a change in companies. This is what the journal suggests in
fighting for development.

The journal begins by illumination of what women empowerment is all about. It is the
process by which woman who has been deprived of the power to make and implement choices
regarding their life acquire abilities and make reforms in their lives. The ability to practice
decision making includes three main parts: Allowed to access to resources both in the future and
current situations, i.e. Both material and human resources required by man, inclusion in steps of
decision making and all activities that require recommendations and recognition of any
achievement attained in the industry. Women should be given opportunities to access finances
just like men do. Many companies finds it weird to give out financial assistance to women
because they discriminate them of owning nothing.
The journal states that the three determinants of empowerment cannot be separated and
they remain the measure for the level of woman empowerment in a given institution or
environment. The three dimensions represent a step to integrate measures of discrete excellent in
the exploration of woman empowerment. Bangladesh private companies should adopt the three
aspects to help ensure that woman empowerment has been achieved. Through the inclusion of
women in activities in the industry, the region will attain woman empowerment. Addition in
activates will not only be enough but also keeping women free in firms. They should access
anything needed and aid in making decisions.
Women should not be denied accessing data as some companies do. Private companies in
Bangladesh should give female workers financial assistance such as loans to empower them and
