fairly to and given all the legal authorities that a men have in this world. Not only in this manner,
women rights also defined in form of having options to marry or to work at a specific position
outside home town. The current assignment will be based on particular topic and that is women
right in India.
MAIN BODY
About Women’s rights in India
From earlier time till today, many things come to the fore about women’s right. It is one
of those subjects which is going on and till highlighted now. Just because of being a woman in
India, females faced a lot of challenges and issues to survive, live and to stand by own. The
reason for considering girls as curse, the practice of killing them was going one even before their
birth. Earlier in India, no one prefers to provide any kind of freedom to women, because they
never respect their feeling, thoughts and understand their emotions (Gram and et.al., 2020).
Instead of giving them wings to fly, they force girls to get marry with those persons who become
much younger than them. Not only this, they have been pressurized to kill girl baby before birth,
as their family members never accept baby girl, because they felt that girls are burden and they
never ever be lucky for them. Furthermore, women and girls in India has been harested in several
ways such as raped, sexually abused by their own family or nearby related. There are many
stories accessible in the world, which define the clear image about women rights in India from
previous era to now. The importance of females in villages based on birth of child, when she
births a baby boy then their family members give them all the respect, while a girl birth makes
their life hell. Inability to have male child mostly put negative impact on their statues in society
and whole community.
But the time has changed now, because of many women leaders such as Indira Gandhi,
Gowri Lakshmi Bayi, Amina Begum, etc. who fight for the rights of woman in nation and efforts
to give them fair and equal respect like male candidates. The fight to give females and girls

freedom and opportunity to choose specific option among long list, according to their choice and
preference. They also work hard to develop a strong status of woman in society or whole world.
Child marriage at age of 15 is one of those older practices that destroy female’s life, but
in recent time just because of these fighter’s people get overcome from this practice and they
believe that females also have rights to select what they want to be and what to do in term of
study or marry. In India, due to lack of equality between male and female, women’s never get
chance to show who talented and skilled they are. Dowry is one of those systems that also
contribute to make their life hell and become the reason of their death. The leaders who fight for
woman’s rights consider each and every thing which motivate them to take strict action and give
excellent respond to the misbehavior of male dominated society (Crepelle, 2020). In the 17th
century they were become second class citizens. Gender differences become the biggest barrier
in the growth, which now has been reduced at high extent. In 21st century, in India women’s get
almost rights to marry, to work and to enjoy their lives. They approach across nation to graduate
themselves and get excellent success in their life, which is not possible for females earlier as they
deal with many complications by birth, which is not easy to overcome.
It can be said that, girls have not gotten whole rights because many cases emerged due to
their rejections about make proposal. For example, acid attack is one of the most common
criminal activity that younger boys conduct after a girl or female rejection, as she chose another
path to grow instead of being their wife. The rejection affects male ego and just because of that
acid attacks become their respond, which destroy victim life. As these cases defines that still
women’s do not have right to choose their life partners (Maheswari and Shaik, 2020). Acid
attack, rape, kidnapping, murder, physical and mental harassment are those practices that
conduct against women in India till now, when they arise voice against not being obtaining the
rights that they have (Menon, 2020). Along with changes in women status within India, there are
some transformation also being highlighted such as decreasing ration of Dowry cases, child
marriage and other discrimination. There are several forms of concepts and theories are
accessible related to women's rights. For example, feminism theory may concentrate on
examining gender equality, which define the differences between make and female on the basis
of varied elements. While conflict concept may focused on competition between society and

groups over limited things. It clearly argues that gender is the best understood as men efforts to
maintain privilege and power to determined of female.
While still females are facing challenges to have all their rights, just because of poor
financial conditions, dependency on family members and husband after marriage, which made
them unable to take action against violence. By considering all the criminal activities,
Government in India has decided to take strict action in term of passing laws, through which
female get rights to file case and give punishment to prisoner who deserve the worst treatment.
In today’s crisis time, due to covid the domestic violence complaints ration increased day by day,
which also define the statues of women rights in India. They fight to obtain all the rights and
demand equality and equal treatment from societies in country.
CONCLUSION
From above discussion, it has been concluded that within India after the development and
growth of economy, preferences and conservative things of each and every person has changed.
Thus, they boost the morale of women’s and given them chances to grow in their career whether
it is personal and professional. The transformation from ancient duration to 21st century, related
to women rights has provided several opportunities to female to choose the way they seek to live.
