INTRODUCTION
Work-Based learning refers to all those activities and experience which an employee
learn from the organisation where they are working. By taking the advantage of work-based
learning an individual can increase their skills, talent, knowledge and expertise which allows
them to open up the paths of success. Work-Based learning can be conducted into workplace
with the help of various aspects like on-the-job training, mentoring, organising effective
conferences and meetings. For understanding the learning concept in depth the consideration of
this study is required. As it will cover about the project future goals and detail about personal
professional training requirements in order to enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals.
Along with this, purpose plan for work-based project to analyse the employees encouragement
and the value of evaluation of monitoring and controlling of the employees activities will define
in this report.
TASK 1

goal
Developing leadership traits: The succession of all the operations of the business
depends on the traits of the leaders. As the main focus of the leaders on motivating and guiding
employees due to which it essential for a leader to possess some traits like vision setting, good
communicators, commitment and passion and many others. Each organisation wants an
inspirational leader and most of the firms for this purpose evolve certain some individuals who
have much experienced and skilled in this same field so that they can perform their role in an
effective manner (Nikolova and et. al., 2014).
Planning and goal setting: This plays a huge role in the organisation as this is the most
crucial functions of a manager as it define that in order to accomplish multiple goals they needs
to make a list of all the objectives and set them as per their urgency so that all the task can be
accomplished on time with great efficiency.
Public speaking: the assessment of public speaking can be done in an effective manner
when management of an organisation have clear thoughts as it helps them in delivering their
message with high clarity, conciseness and enables them in gaining credibility.

Problem solving and conflicts resolution: This is considered as soft skills by manager
while recruiting employees as it define the ability of person to deal with negative situations. In
this aspect, management must tell proper detail about each of the task and the issues which are
attached with them so that the completion of each task can be determined in an appropriate way.
Mastering the art of negotiation: It is seems as a most complex skills which can be
developed by adopting effective practices. The term negotiation is used within each organisation
in terms to get the best outcomes from the employees for each task. As negotiations refers to the
relationships, by mastering the art of negotiation an organisation can lead the business top0rank
position (Alfeld and et. al., 2013).
Analytical and research skills: Possession of these skills within a person is necessary as
it enables them to collect the information, make strategies for problem solving and make
appropriate decisions. This will help the organisation in conducting all their business operations
as per the market situations which enables them to solve all the company's problems and enhance
their profitability and success.
TASK 2
Personal and Professional development plan
Work-Based learning is considered as an educational strategy which give a range of
opportunities to the students which enables them to takes an initiative related to implying
effective theory into their practices in order to enhance their real life experience. In addition to
this, it also can from various resources such as mentoring, internships, apprenticeship and so on
which helps the in identifying their potential capabilities so that they can perform all the
activities in an appropriate manner. Therefore, the concept of work-based learning is very helpful
for me at my previous workplace as it helps me in making best decisions, adopting innovative
ideas and make coordination with team members. Hence, I determined my future career goals as
a Project Manager in Barratt London which give me proper guidance in order to attain higher
growth and success in my professional career. As due to acquire the position of project manager,
I am possessing a set of skills, characteristics, knowledge and talent which enables me to carry
out all the activities or operations in a most effective manner. In this aspect, I have used Personal
and Professional development plan which helps me in ascertaining all the strengths and
