Introduction
Work based learning leads to explore several opportunities for individuals which makes
them competent according to the dynamic environment. It also develops knowledge in
individuals and increases their communication skills. Work based learning makes individuals
professional in their work which develops interests of individuals toward work. Academic
integrity is also maintained in institutes through work based learning which leads in creating
integrity in minds of a learner. It also helps in increasing performance of a learner and level of
output they produce during their work. It is highly necessary to implement work based learning
in the institutes in order to achieve a better institutional growth. This report includes reflection of
a front desk manager working in Marriott.

It is not always possible for every front line manager to have a leadership quality and to give
feedback to the workforce working under him/her. Even if the manager has the ability and skills
to do a task, it is required that the company provides the manager with enough opportunities.
Opportunities may create a good organisational and managerial environment in the company.
