INTRODUCTION
Work based learning refers to an educational strategy which offer real life experience to a
students where they are able to apply different technical and academic skills along with
development of employability (Adams, Dominelli and Payne, 2017). This project report includes
study of Rosewood London which is UK based hotel. It is founded by Rosewood Hotel group in
the year 2013 and is one of 5 star hotel. This project report consist development of skill audit and
personal development plan. It reflects on progress in planning for work role in context of
organisation. It includes identification of skills and knowledge for a job role. Moreover, it
evaluate learning as well as progress of reflective logs and journals.

Reflection of progress in planning for and undertaking work job role in context to organisation
I am enthusiastic and totally committed towards my work and I take working as an opportunity
in my life. For the job role of front office manager in Rosewood London I will take responsibility
of the post in a positive manner. I will apply democratic leadership in my working as this
leadership technique is a universally accepted approach which helps in formulation of mutual
decisions for the company. I will also give priority to time management by majorly creating a
perfect routine that is suitable for my job role (Choudhury and Pattnaik, 2020). I will take into
consideration formation of a business strategy for my organisation in order to minimise risk
associated with the operations. I will also take advice of my seniors and experts in order to
formulate effective management decisions related to the business. For the job role of front office
management, my major target will include establishment of team work in the company for long
term success of the business. I will also try to manage operations with ethics and honesty in order
to develop ethical practices in my job role. I will implement various universally adopted theories
of management in the company for development of organisational goals and objectives. In order
to manage my juniors in a precise manner I will give preference to human relations theory which
is helpful in creating harmony in employees. I will also find effective ways to utilise the
resources of the company in order to increase turnover and revenue of company. In order to

of different activities in order to meet deadline of project. In the end, with efforts of different
team members, we have completed the project before deadline which provide us more time to
monitor project. We monitor performance of project and made necessary action in order to get
improvement.
