Introduction
Healthy and safe working environmentarenecessaryfor an organisation for having effective
production in the organisation. This is to enhance productivity at the workplace and to
improve the retention of the employees. The report focuses on the requirement of a healthy
and safe working environment that ensures the employees to work with an interest in the
company. The risk management plan will also be made so that it would help in meeting with
the risks and hazards and for making up a healthy and safe environment.

BRIEF FROM YOUR ORGANISATION'S WHS POLICIES
A number of policies and regulations are required to be made in the company for creating and
building a safe environment for meeting with the needs of the organisation. The main policy
that needs to be adopted in the organisation is to provide a safe working environment for the
improvement in the health of the employees. This includes variables that are undertaken in
the WHS is resolving the issues that arise in the organisation due to a healthy and safe
workplace. The monitoring of employees for providing care services to the patients, this
ensures the safe workplace for the employees to work in the workplace. The conduction of
training and induction programs is the major part of the workplace as this makes the
individual know the work they need to perform for fulfilling the needs (Bromiley, McShane,
Nair & Rustambekov, 2015).
The organisation considers equality to all the employees so that they can work with
enthusiasm in the workplace and talent is given priority. The safety car system adopted in
Coles is to make the employees manage the risks and hazards that arise in the organisation.
Information of every team members is kept in the organisation so that adequate health
services could be made to them. The objectives and targets are communicated directly to the
employees to manage the performance by improving safety and injury management. The
information of all the employees is kept confidential so that it would not harm them in the
future. The information is kept with the organisation so that the employees would not be
made of allowed to do the work that is not as per the health status. Coles ensures the health of
the patients to be more prior than the profits as he considers his team to work for the goals
that it needs to meet in the organisation. The policies are to be made with the consideration of
the requirement of employees so that they can meet with the need of employees by providing
them with a healthy and safe environment (Larson &Gray, 2017).

The employer needs to avail the first aid and medical services to
the employees so that instant treatment could be given to them in
case of any mishappening that takes place. The legislative policies
are also required to be made so that it could meet with the
obligation of government for supervising the employees for having
safe and healthy working conditions in the workplace (Befekadu,
Gupta & Antsaklis, 2015)
