Incidents, in case of health and safety occurrences and property damage have the high
human and financial cost. The main purpose of investigation at workplace incidents is the
ascertain both immediate and underlying causes as well as put in place measures to prevent a co-
occurrence. This is the main process which involves a systematic examination of the
circumstances of incident, at the workplace activities which are taking place at the time, plant
and equipment in use at the time and any supporting various materials like existing risk
assessment and control standard as well as legal obligations. The present study is based on “BGC
– Buckeridge group of companies” which deals with mining and civil construction. The report
will explain the different activities which are related to health and safety at workplace.

the fixed and step by step process and course of action that must be followed in the same order.
