INTRODUCTION
A work health management system is described as a systematic methodology which is
used to address occupational health and safety in an organisation. In respect to accomplish the
goals and objectives the organisation need to implement a WHS management system within a
realistic time frames. The present report is based on Woolworths Ltd company which operates its
business in retail sector. It is one of the leading company that sales variety of products and
services in different places. The present report cover different types of risk that can impact the
health of an individual at the workplace. Along with this, opportunities and process for team
members to consult and contribute on OHS/WHS issues according to store policy is provided.
Apart from this, Implement and monitor control measures to prevent recurrence and minimise
risks of unsafe and hazardous events according to store policy and hierarchy of control is also
described.
MAIN BODY

According to the given scenario working in a Woolworths Ltd company as a manager. In
an organisation it is important to implement policy related to health and safety so that no
employees work in risky areas. There are different policy and procedures which can be adopted
by the organisation (Glendon, Clarke and McKenna, 2016). According to the health and safety
act the workers at the work place must cooperate with any reasonable policy and procedures of
the person who conducting the health and safety at the workplace. It is important to inform that if
any hazard is identified than directly communicate with manager so that necessary action can be
taken on right time

Making sure the access for team member to store WHS policy and procedures so that they can
implement them successfully (Fernández-Muñiz, Montes-Peón and Vázquez-Ordás, 2014). Right
information may includes first aid kits, material saftey data sheets and WHS training information
etc.
