2WORK INTEGRATED PROJECT Stress management I have realized that workplace stress can have a damaging impact on the mind and body. Thus it is of utmost importance to maintain a proper balance between work and relaxations (Powell & Enright, 2015). As a manager, I have a huge workload. I have realized that I often lose my calm when the work pressure is touch. I often suffer from emotional outbursts and depression. This has a long term damaging impact on my health. Thus I have started following some stress management methods. Exercise I have realized that undertaking daily exercise helps in toning the body muscles and in keeping the mind fresh(Tetrick & Winslow, 2015). Thus I make it a point to devote half an hour from my daily schedule for doing some exercises or yoga Short breaks I have realized that working for a long time without any breaks or intervals in between often has a very bad impact on mental and physical well being. Thus, whenever I feel stressed out at my workplace, I take a break from work. This involves undertaking a small walk outside the office premises, going out to talk with co-workers, arrange for some stress busters activities like games, quizzes, and many other such activities. I have realized that these activities help me in diverting my mind onto some other lines of work. Thus after taking this break, I feel refreshed and can again resume work with a fresh mind.
3WORK INTEGRATED PROJECT Communication Taking is also one of the important methods of killing workplace stress. I have realized that talking and expressing thoughts is one of the best means of letting out one’s emotions. This helps me in understand the views and opinions of my colleagues, bosses and other officials. Thus I am able to share my emotions and nervousness with my colleagues and this often acts as a great relief.
