INTRODUCTION
At the time of working in an organisation employees needs to fulfil all roles and
responsibilities in effective manner. There are some key objectives for placement which needs to
be attained by personnel at the time of working with a firm. The current report is for work
placement. In which, I will describe my work experience. I have started my work placement at
Hellobyte limited as a sales and support Executive. HelloByte Limited is a software company
which offers builds ICT system solution with VoIP service providers. This system helps their
clients in rolling out and managing business operations in successful manner. HelloByte dialer
works with the smart tunnel server which allows customers to achieve quality voice
communication from Middle East countries including UAE, OMAN, KSA, QATAR, KUWAIT.
The current report will describe major work placement objectives which were formulated
during 6 months of placement. I have completed lots of tasks and fulfilled all responsibilities in
effective manner. So, in this report I will describe the major reasons because of them I have
chosen this organisation. Further, it will also describe that how my academic interest link with
the HelloByte Limited. Along with this, report will also describe the major challenges which
were faced by me at the time of working with HelloByte and different ways which have been
used by me for resolving that issues in more effective manner. Including this report will evaluate
my contribution to the goals of the organisation also. Therefore, work placement report will
describe my whole positive and negative experience with HelloByte Limited at the time of my
six months work placement.
As per the assigned roles and responsibilities there were some specific key objectives
which need to be attained by me at the time of my work placement. In which continuous
assessment of the changing work environment of HelloByte was one of the major objective of
my placement. Along with this, I needed to make appropriate communication and interpersonal
relationship with team members and customers were also considered as major accountability of
my job. Further, I was responsible for maintaining clarity of processes and systems by which
everyone can get information about their roles and responsibilities. I needed to respect values
and ethics of each and every personnel of the company because it is essential for maintaining
healthy work environment at workplace. Another responsibility was to analyse different issues
and trends associated with the company’s sales. Along with this, engaging people, organisation
and partners in developing goals, executing plans and delivering results was also one of the

major part of work placement duties (Challenges of Sales Management, 2016). Resource
management is another important objective of business process in HelloByte. It is very important
to properly manage available resource in an organisation.
Generally, duties and responsibilities of a sales and support executive is totally depends
on the market and the setting. Generally basic distinctions can be made by two types of sales
such as business to business (B2B) and business to customer or consumer (B2C). Along with
this, sales executive generally run those departments whose primary functions is to sales goods
and services of the company to customers and generate profitability for the firm. Major duties of
sales executive is managing sales functions and selling of goods and services. So, at the time of
working with HelloByte Limited my primary duty was to set goals and hit the targets provided
by the management. For attaining all objectives in effective manner I needed to do market
research for the launching of new product. Like HelloByte Limited has introduced new software
for Etisalat social network for UAE. For this it was required to work on the demand and needs of
the customers. Further, I was also accountable for preparing budget and forecasting future sales
of the organisation. I needed to pay attention towards all roles and responsibilities in effective
manner because this work placement was very important for developing my future career. At the
time of placement I was also responsible for advice customer on product selection and services
for special focus and meeting with other department heads. I was also responsible for deal with
new customer queries, providing them software price details, demo details and commercial new
Dialer. Including this, as per the assigned responsibilities I needed to make contact with potential
customers and find different ways to increase sales profits. For managing and improving sales of
the company I needed to associate with the action, people and financial management of the
HelloByte Limited. Budget management and resource allocation was also a major part of my job
which was required to fulfil by me at the time of internship (HelloByte, 2016).
Including this, my major duties was developing effective relationship with clients of
HelloByte Limited. Along with this, searching and conducting research in market and other
related products were also a strong part of my duties and responsibilities. Further, I was also
accountable for presenting the product or service in a structured professional was at the time of
direct selling process. Sales executive of HelloByte Limited has also associated with the number
of activities such as listening to customers and their requirements and presenting appropriately to
make sales. Along with this, I was also accountable for maintaining and development

relationship with existing customers on personal basis of via telephone, calls and emails.
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales are also considered as a part of
responsibilities as a sales executive (Sinha, 2015). As per my job description I needed to review
my own performance and deciding specific aim to meet or exceed all targets. Including this, I
was also responsible for communicating the future buying trends to employer for developing
future plans for the company.
As a sales executives in HelloByte Limited my job responsibilities involves to resolving
any customer registration and voice issue by arranging test call from specific areas. Along with
this, sometimes I was needed to get appropriate support from 2nd line department sales ICT
system solution to company’s clients. Ensuring appropriate solution to the customer complaints
and providing them proper solution from the department. At the time of work placement I was
accountable for developing strong communication with all sales personnel which are performing
their duties for selling goods and services of the HelloByte. Overall, my major responsibility was
increasing sales of the company and managing all activities which were relevant to the sales of
the organisation. At the time of internship there was no specific schedule for completing roles
and responsibilities in effective manner. It was easy to complete each task without any force and
pressure (Pelham, 2015).
Reasons for choosing the organisation
Hellobyte is an ICT research and development company which builds ICT system
solution to help the VOIP service providers in managing their business operation successfully.
There are various reasons because of which I chose this organisation as my workplace
As this was my part of my course which I am pursuing that I want to do work placement
in the organisation. I want to make my career in sales so as to achieve my career goals.
HelloByte limited is a very good platform for me to work with highly experience staff. Also In
order to learn more about the networking, I choose this organisation as it is best in making
system solutions. Further, this will help in gaining deep insight about the system and opportunity
to apply my strategic and leadership skills. I would love to work in the organisation as it is a
growing and can be helpful for future perspective. In this organisation I applied for the position
of sales and support executive. I adopted this organisation with the aim of improving strategic
and leadership skills. By working in HelloByte, I can achieve the 8 key objectives which need be
attained by me during my work placement. I also want to understand the skills and knowledge

which are required for making carrier in this industry. By joining this organization, I gained
knowledge about the company’s operation and the various problems which they are facing. As i
am doing diploma in strategic management and leadership and I want to become an effective
strategic manger. I want to develop all skills and competencies are required for this platform.
I am a fresher and this company is big platform to enhance my career in the software
industry and to continue my strategic management and leadership course, I also want to learn
more about interpersonal and communication skills. This is one of the major reasons for
selecting this firm. In my first semester, I learned about various topics and subjects. I learn about
the organisation performance and strategy, Leadership, personal leadership development. So in
order to learn in depth about all subjects this was the best platform.
I want to gain knowledge about in depth about the roles that can play while doing the
sales related job. So to learn about different aspects like market research, customer development,
and sales executive this is best company as it deals in research and development. In my course I
have to know about one subject that is strategic information management. The subject tells that
how organisation uses that data that it collects from the different computer systems and make the
product from collected data. This approach is powerful in maintaining position of company in
this competitive market. Hellobyte is dealing in software development and provides networking
solutions to the client. So this company is very helpful in making my view clear about the
particular subject which I learned in my course.
So in order to become a perfect leader and gaining deep insight about my course, I
thought Hellobyte platform is a big platform for me to achieve my career and subject goals.
Further, I learn about the developing performance management. Performance management is
very important approach that helps the company in achieving goals of the organisation. I also
want to improve my performance in sales so I joined this organisation to enhance my
performance.
In Hellobyte, I also got opportunity to develop my soft skills in working on a sales job to
improve my soft skills. These are the major reasons for choosing this firm
I also want to learn and developed the understanding of the world of the work and
particular occupation which I thought to do so this is the reason for choosing Hellobyte.
From my research I know that the organisation culture is very innovative they chooses
various strategies and plans to make their company innovative. I am also very innovative I

always try some different things which make me innovative. So culture of the Hellobyte and my
interest are at same level so I choose that company as my work placement.
They also provide a lot of training which were very helpful for me in my course and in
my career goal. I also seek opportunities in this company so this is the reason to join that
company as my internship (Sanz-Magallon Rezusta, Izquierdo-Llanes and Molina-Lopez, 2015).
For my future development I want to start my career and this is the best organisation to start my
career. This company has lot of knowledge and skills and experience which I needed so to take
the advantage of the company I wanted to work here.
Organisation correspond to my academic interest
My academic interest is to make my career in the job which is related with to my studies.
So Hellobyte provide me an opportunity to deal in doing the sales of their product that it deals in
providing computer solutions to their clients. Hellobyte is very corresponding to my academic
interest as it is software Development Company and networking is my passion and I want to do
my best in that. At my CMI I learnt about different subject in my first semester. This subjects
were like reviewing organisation strategy plans and performance, personal leadership
development as a strategic manager. So in order to become a good strategic manager, this
industry is appropriate as I gained lot of knowledge from my work placement manager. Even, I
had done PESTLE analysis of the organisation through which I came to know the different
conditions of the organization. On the basis of above analysis I selected this organisation as
fruitful for me. Further, I also acquired theoretical knowledge on organisational strategy plan and
performance during my course study. But this company gave me platform for making
organisation plan and strategy for the organization. by making various plan and strategy for a
company gives me lot of practical knowledge to enhance my knowledge (Lemanski and Overton,
2016). Or it can be said that management theories are helpful to maintain the day to day
activities. Adopting this theory aid me to attain my purpose of internship. There are different
theory of management that can be considered like contingency theory, system theory and chaos
theory. According to contingency theory, the manager takes decisions on the current situation
instead of taking of all the factors. System theory helped in analysing the affect of different
systems affects a worker. Whereas, chaos theory explains about the change. By considering all
the theories helps me to learn the things regarding decision making and managing the affected
system. There are different leadership styles that can be taken into consideration like autocratic,

participative etc. Considering these theories helped me to analysis various styles. It also helps me
to know more about the importance of different styles in the organization.
Working for Hellobyte, I spend lot of time on searching information on lot of things at
this is the research and development company. This research helps me in strategic management
course. During my work placement, I was assigned as a sales executive of a company.
I work as a sales executive in the company and the main responsibility of sales executive
is to do two types of sales. These sales were business to business and business to consumer. This
also includes responsibility of building relationship with the clients and presenting the company
product to client in an attractive way. These responsibilities were basically objectives of the
organization which helps me in doing very well at my job position.
There are various roles which the sales executive has to play in their organization. These
roles are listening to customer requirements, maintaining relationship with the existing customers
of the clients. this all the work was also assigned to me when I joined the organization so it very
similar to my academic interestt. This role also help me a lot in improving my communication
skills, management skills, strategic thinking. These skills were helpful in practical learning as a
strategic manager.
My subject personal leadership development as a strategic leader in which I learn lot
many qualities which has had with the strategic leader (Reid, 2015). The qualities were self
control, self awareness, keeping updated, and compassion. These I learnt from doing the work as
a sales executive in Hellobyte so this work is also very similar with my subject. At Hellobyte I
researched about many aspects in the company related to the development of solution which
were helpful in making the skills that strategic manger has always updated to knowledge. By
doing work at the position of the sales executive job I am capable of learning the practical skill
that always understand the subordinates. As working in the organisation has also given me a
opportunity to work on the finance related matter of company. That to see the balance sheet and
profit and loss statement of the company. This helps in making my strong practical knowledge
for the financial management.
The main objective of the salesperson is resource management, management excellence,
strategic thinking, communication and interpersonal skills. This all the objectives were attained
by me in doing the job in the company as a sales manager. As a sales executive it is very
important to deal with the customers. And for that the best communication skill is required. So to

deal with the company customers for selling the solutions I am very good at my communication
skills.
While working in the company I work on many things that improves the strategic
thinking. Like in order to sell the solutions of the company to the customers I work on my
thinking part. I think about the offers and plans which is very helpful in selling the solutions. I
develop these solutions from the environment and about the trends of the environment. This all
the plans which was made by me was very helpful in making me as strategic thinker. Which is
very good for the course (Moir, 2016). I also develop a lot of strategies to sell the product which
also adds value ion the strategic manager. As company is judging the performance of an
employee on regular intervals by different methods regular meetings, knowledge skills etc. These
methods makes my practical knowledge strong about the subject developing performance
management strategies. Performance management methods used by company gives detail
knowledge about the methods.
These methods were very relevant to my academic subjects which I study in my course. So I
know how to use these methods practically in organisation.
Sometimes company gives me opportunity that they take my help in making the budget.
In this activity I learn about how organisation allocate their various resources effectively
according to budget. This activity helps lot in achieving the objectives which is related to my
sales role. By assigning various activity by company to me relating to research because its main
part is to do research and development of software. I am very well versed and good at my
research part (TOID, 2015).
So overall it can be said that company is very correspond with my academic interest
because it is very helpful in attaining my all the sales goals. The various tasks which was
assigned to me by my company I am various strong at my subject. This all the tasks make my
practical knowledge strong which I learn in the theory subject at my course. Chosen organisation
is very relevant to the course because I made lot many learning from this organisation. I learned
a lot in the sales field with the help of this company.
Initial ideas about the organization
At the time of work placement at HelloByte as a sales and support Executive there were 8
key objectives that needed to meet by me during 6 month of placement. Critical reflection about

my own experience of the work placement with respect to each and every objective is described
as under:
1. Continuous assessment of the changing work environment: As per this objective I need to
assess the working environment of HelloByte in every month which will help in developing
suitable strategies for developing strategies as per the environment. At the time of working as a
sales executive I have used appropriate process for assessing the working environment of the
company and surroundings. Regarding this I have used two different tools which have helped din
determining changes in working environment on the basis of internal and external factors. Using
these tools I have determined number of internal and external factors which can influence the
working conditions of the HelloByte. SWOT analysis and Pestle analysis have been applied by
me. SOWT has helped me in determining strength, weakness, opportunities and threats of the
company. After conducting SWOT analysis I have determined the impact on internal changes on
overall sales performance of the firm. PESTLE analysis has helped in determining different
external factors such as political, economic, Social, technological, legal and environmental
factors that can easily influence the organization performance of the firm. Overall analysis of
working environment has increased my learnings and skills in terms of developing news
strategies as per the changes in working conditions.
2. Communication and interpersonal relating: As per my key personal objectives I needed to
make strong communication and interpersonal relationship with team members and customers. It
was required for increasing sales and attaining sales target in effective manner. at the time of
joining lack of confidence was one of the major reason which affected my communication skills.
But after sometime I was comfort with my work placement which improved my communication
skills. Along with this, I have used different channels of communication for making
communication with team members such as mails, telephones, video conferencing, face to face
meetings and informal discussion, etc. All these channels were associated with very low cost
which does not influence the overall financial position of the HelloByte. But, it has helped in
exchanging information between different team members which helped in developing strong
employee relations. On the other hand, I used customer relationship management system for
making communication with customers which has helped me in getting feedback from customers
about the product of HelloByte. It has helped me in developing appropriate strategies for
attracting customers and increasing sales of the firm. Therefore, as per my personal experience

applied communication strategies has helped me in developing strong relations with customers as
well as team members of the company.
3. Clarity of process/system: As per my key personal objective I needed to develop a clear
system and process for increasing sales of the organization. I have used a direct and online
selling system for attaining sales target. I have learned lots of new things at the time of
increasing sales. Along with this, this process has improved my sales and communication skills
also.
4. Values and ethics: As per the key personal objectives I needed to maintain values and ethics
of the organization ta the time of working with HelloByte. Before starting workplace training I
needed to understand ethical values of the organization. In my induction section I have got
appropriate information about the business ethics and values of HelloByte. As per this
information I have realized that major business values of this organization are client focus,
quality, integrity, team work and fun. For maintaining these values I have I have determined the
needs and requirements of each and every client which has helped me in selling customized
product to my client. Along with this I assured bout to maintain quality of the products and
services. I always act with integrity, through honesty, fairness and accountability which has
helped me in in completing my work in very effective manner. Along with this, I preferred to
work as a team as well as I used number of team building exercise for improving outcomes of the
whole team. Therefore, I have used most appropriate strategies for maintaining business values.
On the other hand, at the time of working with HelloByte I learned different ways to maintain
business ethics in effective manner. I have followed appropriate corporate social responsibilities
for understanding and maintaining business ethics at workplace. At the time of maintaining
business ethics I have obtained information about the responsibilities of HelloByte towards the
different stakeholders such as employees, customers, suppliers, government and investors, etc. I
have maintained values and ethics of the organization at the time of work placement.
5. Strategic thinking: As per the objectives I needed to apply appropriate strategies for
increasing sales of the company. For attaining this objective I have used appropriate strategies
for augmenting sales for example, I has developed a social media networking site of HelloByte
which has helped in attracting number of customers and augmenting sales of the company.
Including this, I has used lots of sales forecasting technique for forecasting future sales of the
company which helped me in developing sales strategy. Trend line forecasting was one of the

important method which has applied by me at the time forecasting future sales. This technique
has increased my knowledge about how to use past data to forecast future sales of the
organization. Overall I has applied strategic thinking in developing sales strategy.
6. Engagement: Employee engagement means different HR practices, positive psychology and
business models which engage company’s talent towards a productive culture of success. I have
used number of activities which could increase the employee engagement at workplace of
HelloByte. There activities are encouraging volunteers and sales persons, team building
activities, etc. therefore, these activities has increasing my learnings in terms of employee
engagement and strong employee relations at workplace. It has provided best outcomes and
performance.
7. Management excellence: As per this objective I needed to use appropriate styles of leadership
for supervising different team members of sales team of HelloByte. It helps in maintaining
management excellence at workplace. For attaining this objective I have used participative
leadership style which has helped me in improving management and decision making process for
attaining targets of sales. This leadership style has improved my decision making skills and
relations with team members of the organization.
8. Resource management: At the time of starting of this internship my major skills were
management, leadership, communication, data collection and analysis skills, team building skills,
motivational skills, etc. these skills have helped me in completing my roles and responsibilities
in more effective manner. After completing this internship I have learned lots of new things such
as how to forecast sales, manage changes in working environment, maintaining values and ethics
and employee engagement, etc.
Major challenges in the course of the work placement, and applied ways to resolve difficulties
HelloByte Limited is a small business organization so, there is not specific arrangement
of training and development programs for each and every employees. So, at the time of starting
internship it has created challenges which might be affect the future performance by but I have
applied appropriate strategies to overcome that challenges. Therefore, I have used appropriate
actions to completing my roles, responsibilities and duties in effective manner which have helped
in managing all challenges also.
At the time of starting, I have faced an issue about the lack of sales meetings and poor
coaching. Because HelloByte did not focus on providing appropriate training to all interns about

how to perform their work. So, I have faced issue in understanding my roles and responsibilities
at initial stages. This issues had affected my initial performance. So, for improving performance
and resolving this issue I had been started to conduct informal discussion with subordinates
about their roles and responsibilities and strategies which have applied by them for attaining their
targets. So, it has helped me in improving my skills to manage work, along with this, I have also
suggested about the training session to manager of the company. So, in third month manager of
HelloByte was conducted a training program which has increased my knowledge and skills about
the sales management. Along with this, I have got knowledge about how to make communication
with customers for improving sales of the company.
But after some time I have faced another changes which were related to the limited sales
training programs about how to attract customers towards the ICT solutions of the company. For
resolving this issue I have called for a new informal training session (Ingram and et.al, 2012). It
was arranged by this organization and by which I got appropriate knowledge about the sales
management also. At the time of initial stage of internship lack of communication with team
members was also one of the major issue which was affecting my roles and responsibilities in
negative manner. Due to this reason I was not capable to develop relationship with all team
members. But for resolving this issue I have started to join informal communication of team.
Along with this, I have arranged a brain storming team activity session for entire team. It has
helped in improving working environment and provided an opportunity to maintain a strong
bond with team members (Gibbons, 2015).
HelloByte does not use any specific sales formula which can help in improving sales of
the company. So, at the time of starting sales of ICT solution I have faced problem of lack of
sales and lack of attraction of customers. It has affected my performance targets. So, for
resolving this issue I have used an appropriate strategy for increasing sales and attracting
customers. I have started to analyse the needs and requirements of the customers and then offer
an appropriate solution. It has helped in increasing sales of the firm and attracting large number
of customers also (Engstrom and et.al, 2016).
Working environment of the organization is one of the major attribute of the organization
which plays very important role in success and failure of the firm. So, lack of focus on fun and
culture was also one of the major drawback of HelloByte Limited which have created a little job
dissatisfaction among me. Along with this, it has also reduced the level of motivation which have

influenced my performance in negative manner. So, for improving the working culture I started
to talk with each and every employees at workplace which have helped in improving relationship
which have helps in improving the work culture of the firm. Along with this, I have also
provided appropriate suggestions to management about the team activities which can helps in
maintaining funny and relaxing atmosphere at workplace. Therefore, this strategy has helped me
in resolving this issue in effective manner.
Along with this, HelloByte has not used a consistent recruitment of sales personnel and
which created extra work burden on me. So, inconsistent recruitment was also one of the major
challenge for me because due to this reason high employee turnover which increased my
workload. For managing this issue I have referred some candidates to organization which could
be hired by the firm for increasing sales of the firm. It has reduced my workload also (De Silva,
2013).
Sales target was very high and making contact with new customers was difficult for me.
At that time I was also facing the issue of time management because every day I was become
delay in submitting my every day sheet to my supervisor. But for resolving this issue I has
applied a time management strategies. I used to do planning and deciding priority for each and
every task. It has helped in managing time in effective manner as well as it has also helped in
completing roles and responsibilities in effective manner (Ingram and et.al, 2012).
In earlier studies I have got theoretical knowledge about the sales management so, I did
not have appropriate knowledge about how to use the latest technologies and software for
managing sales of the firm. So, handling the latest technology and software was also considered
as major challenge for me which were improved by me by joining training session for these
instruments.
Budget cuts and lack of financial capital were also included in the major challenges
which have affected my sales planning process. Due to the lack of money I was unable to use
different marketing strategies to attract customers (Pelham, 2015). It reduced the attraction level
of custo9mers and which have negative impacts on sales and profitability of the firm. So, for
resolving this issue I have used social media marketing strategies which was cost effective and
less time consuming. It has helped me in managing finance of the organization. Along with this,
too many competitors, lack of interest of customers and lack of staff members support in
attaining sales targets were also major challenges for me. But for managing these challenges I

have analysed the whole industry in effective manner which have helped me in understanding
strategies of customers. These have provided an appropriate assistance in reducing the level of
competition also. Including this, social media marketing and customized products and services
were known as appropriate strategies for attracting customers. Overall, at the time of internship I
have used most appropriate strategies to overcome all challenges and completing roles and
responsibilities sin effective manner.
Contribution towards the goals of the organization
This is with reference to depict about a conferred scenario into which a new software for UAE
has been launched. It is basically known as Etisalat social data package whose inculcation needs
a prior postulation of additive payment. Only after which, the existing base of clients and
customers can add it to their dallier services. However, it required me to conduct some
prominent sessions of meetings with my team personnel to discuss upon the same. We have
hereby proposed a free service of demo for four continual days to test the occurrence of this new
data service. I have together referred to ask for feedback from the participants to give their liable
response towards our new product. This is mainly in order to deprive back any uncertain clause
before launching it into the market. It is where I have to further pass it on to my superior
managerial bodies of the organisation where they can relatively work as per the accumulated
responses of the users who have actively associated with us to give their liable feedback. In order
to which, I have also referred them the introductory package of Hellobyte where they have

Sales executive plays very important role in success and failure of an organization.
Therefore, at the time of internship I have provided positive contribution in attaining goals and
objectives of the firm. For example, I was accountable for meeting sales target of the company
and I have completed these responsibilities in effective manner. So, it can be said that I have
provided a positive contribution in increasing sales and attaining organization’s sales target
which increased the profitability of the firm (Egan, FitzGibbon and Oldham, 2015). Along with

this, generally I have conducted appropriate planning and budgeting for managing sales target
which have helped in developing appropriate organizational plan for HelloByte.
In earlier studies I have studied the importance of team work for an organization so, I
have applied lots of strategies which have helped me in improving efficiency of team work at my
own workplace. Along with this, I have made formal and informal communication with all team
members which has helped me in developing strong relationship with team members, it has also
helped in getting appropriate information by which I have developed my own plan for improving
performance of team which leads improvement in the overall performance of HelloByte.
Therefore, my team building strategies have provided appropriate assistance in attaining
organizational success.
Along with this, making contact with existing, new and potential customers was also
considered as important responsibilities of sales executive of HelloByte. I have used lots of
strategies for improving communication with customers (Engstrom and et.al, 2016). Along with
this, I have also applied social media marketing strategies for advertising of ICT solutions of
HelloByte which have helped in attracting mass customers of global and local level. It has
increased the number of customers for the organization. It has positive impacts on sales revenue
and sales target of the company. So, increasing potential customers for the organization was also
one of the major achievement which have provided my positive contribution towards the goals
and objectives of the company.
Increasing sales of the company was my major objective but regarding this, I needed to
use different brand promotion strategies also (Lengelle and et.al, 2014). These strategies were
required for improving brand image and brand name of the HelloByte. I have used the direct
selling and concepts of 4P’s of marketing for promoting HelloByte. These strategies have helped
in developing a strong brand image of the company in customer’s mind. Overall, my contribution
in this organization have played important role in developing goodwill and strong corporate
image in customers’ Mind. Therefore, it will also help in improving the future performance of
the company.
At the time of working with HelloByte I needed to assure about the appropriate
motivating of subordinates and mentees and other team members. Regarding this, I have used
appropriate communication strategies which helps in boosting level of motivation of sales
personnel (Gibbons, 2015). Including this, I have made necessary arrangement of team activities

at workplace which have also helped in improving the overall motivation of employee high level
of motivation among team members helped in providing the best performance to the organization
which have improved the overall sales of the company.
I have been contributing in organizational success of HelloByte in terms of developing
strong relationship with clients. I have used the telephonic communication and regular follow up
of customers for making contact with customers. Including this, I have also used to access the
needs and requirements of customers for developing appropriate solution for the, it has helped in
increasing the satisfaction level of customers also (Cullen, 2015). Therefore, as a sales executive
I have developed strong relations with number of clients which have helped in increasing
financial performance of the firm. Augmenting the monetary performance is also one of the
major objective of HelloByte and I have provided appropriate contribution in attaining this
objective.
At the time of working as a sales executive I have taken participation in sales planning
and at that time I have suggested lots of ideas for developing sales plans. Most of the time my
ideas were appreciated by management of the organization. Along with this, those ideas were
effectively implemented by the firm. Therefore, I have provided my contribution in developing
appropriate plans for the company (De Silva, 2013).
Overall, I have provided my contribution in increasing sales and profitability of the firm
in effective manner. Including this, my contribution has also helped in improving financial and
non-financial performance of the organization which was the major objective of HelloByte
(Pelham, 2015).
CONCLUSION
The work placement report has concluded that accomplishment of internship in HelloByte was
not an easy task for me because I have faced lots of challenges at workplace. On the other hand, I
have got lots of new knowledge and learnings which will help me in my future career. At the
time of completing this training I have learned lots of new things. I have got new knowledge
about the sales management. It has improved my skills by which now I can increase sales of each
and every organization. Now I am capable enough to decide sales target for own and other team
members. Along with this, I have got appropriate knowledge about the allocation of roles and
responsibilities to team members as per their skills and knowledge. I have taken participation in
different planning process of the company have improved my learnings and skills of planning

and management. Including this, my knowledge and learnings has increased in terms of making
strong communication with customers. It has helped in increasing the number of potential
customers for the HelloByte. As per this report I have provided my positive contribution in
attaining goals and objectives of the organization. But at the time of working with this
organization I have faced list of challenge’s also that might affect my performance. But I have
applied my knowledge and skills to manage these issues in effective manner. According to the
above report I have faced issues relevant to the lack of sales meetings and poor coaching, limited
sales training programs, no specific formula for sales, and lack of focus on fun and culture,
inconsistent recruitment, issue of time management, the latest technology and software and lack
of financial capital. But, at the time of managing these issues I have applied most appropriate
strategies which have helped in overcoming these issues in effective manner. Therefore, I have
managed all challenges in effective manner. Including this, study has also found that I have
provided positive contribution in success and failure of HelloByte. I have increased sales and
profitability of the firm by increasing number of potential customers for the organization. Along
with this, I have also helped in attaining all aim and objectives in effective manner. Therefore
report has concluded that I have successfully completed my internship which was fruitful for
both me and HelloByte also. From the above report I concluded that in order to enhance the
academic interest and subject knowledge Work placement is very important. From work
placement we can learn lot many things which we cannot learn from the theoretical knowledge.
The workplace provides lot many opportunities to develop the skills which I never had before
joining. It also help me in meeting my personal and academic goals which I set. Hellobyte plays
an important role to full fill these goals . It makes my career in advance and the course which I
had taken. Hellobyte also helps in learning depth about the course CMI which is I am pursuing. I
am very well grown in the sales job and able to develop lot many things which were essential for
me. In sales job it is very mandatory that communication and interpersonal skills of the p[person
is very good. From choosing and joining this organisation I developed very well in this
organisation. From company I am also very good in the technical skills and learn lot many things
about the organisation product. I also developed very well in my profession career because in my
course I am able to develop as strategic thinker which I developed a lot from my post. The
placement also helps in improving my communication and interpersonal skills when I deal with
the customer. My intellectual power is also grown very well after joining the organisation

during work placement. With the proper follow of techniques and tools I have achieved my
objectives. I decisde to improve my different skills like leadership and managerial. With the help
of work placement I have commanded over the stated skills.
From the placement I will also be able to realise that to become a professional thinker it
is very much essential that we work on the ground which improves our professional skills. We
can also that to achieve our goals which is based on the academic career it is very important that
we join any work placement. From the placement I also learn about the different things which
were not of my field but help me a lot in making the overall development. Relationship between
the academic interest and working environment is very interlinked with each other. The work
environment gives very deep knowledge and gives lot much knowledge that we never known
before joining the organisation. My academic interest is to do the job of the sales that enhances
my career which were only be possible when I join the organisation. Work environment
motivates a lot to do the job of the academic interest. My technical, leadership, interpersonal
skills all are developed by this organisation. So overall from my sight I concluded that Hellobyte
plays a very and essential role in my life. I never forget my work experience because that give
me lot many experiences which I need in my future. This all the experiences were very important
in making my future bright. This organisation also plays a role in removing the weakness which I
had before joining the company.
