INTRODUCTION In health and social care setting, it is essential to work together as a professional. In this, there is need to make better relationship with others. To work effective for the positive outcomes there is need to make working relationship which is different form personal relationship. In this report, there is discussion about the importance of working together in partnership with others. There is also some explanation about the difference between working and personal relationship. In report also consist information about the different working relationship within health and social care settings. This report also consists skill and approaches which are needed to resolve the conflict(Edwards, (2020)). MAIN BODY Explaining how working relationship is different form personal relationship. Working relationship refers to the connection which are built during professional life. This is the one which is form during working with others like colleagues, staff member and manager which is not as intimate like family and friends. This is the one in which there are some boundary which allow to behave well with other professional and not get include in the personal life. At a point, every requires interaction with other professionals. There is need to build relationship with other while working which help to make better professional working relationship within health and social care. Personal relationship is the one which is made by the individual and means to intimate personal relationship with others which may include dating, living together, being partner and also includes being better part of individual life. Personal relationship is also important for individual which allow to provide better quality of life to live with better effect. This is the one which is different form the professional relationship where relationship is in between family, friends, relatives and other which does not include professional work. Both professional and personal relationship are different and are together make better life for an individual(Unhjem, (2018)).This is effective and individual should not include this in their life. Both are different and when these get combined then there is high risk of getting difficulty to manage good relationship with every individual. Working relationship is built while working professionally in which all shared information is related with the working. In health and social care there is high importance of the working relationship which can have impact on delivery of service with working professionally. This allow to make working relationship with other 1
professional that can be effective for delivery of better health and social care services. Personal relationship includes all the work and activity which are performed with other person rather than professional work or activity(Itani, (2019)). Describing different working relationships in health and social care settings There are various types of working relationship within health and social care setting. In this, initially there is need to understand the role which has be agreed with the employer and should ensure that delivery of service is accordingly. Working relationship refers to the professional relationship which should not be confused with personal relationship within health and social care settings. Woking relationship within health and social care setting are categorised as four which includes individual and their friends and family, colleagues and managers, people from other agencies, community and volunteer’s groups. Relationship with individual their friends and family- This is the one which is highly effective that allows to get regular contact with individual which support which maintain the working relationship with them. In this, there is need to communicate with them effectively that support which should be line with their preferences and needs. In this, there is need to get better relationship with individual and their family and friends which allow to deliver best for individual(Ljungberg, (2017)). Relationship with colleagues- This is the working relationship with co-worker and manager. It involves making decision, sharing ideas along with support others role for which effective communication is more effective. Team working allows to delivery better work guidanceandexperiencethatallowsforcollaborativework,creatingvision,managing performance and setting standard. In this, there is need to report the working to manger which concerns with employers need. Relationship with outside agencies- In working relationship there is need to communicate with other agencies which are effective and allow to provide better delivery of service which are needed externally. These could be the people who are working to achieve better outcomes for individual within health and social care settings. These may include nurses, general practitioners, advocate, social workers and many others. There are many other agencies which need to get in touch and make working relationship that may include Care Quality Commission (CQC) or any third party who provides training, supply(Bookey‐Bassett, (2017)). 2

Identifying skills and approaches for resolving conflicts There is chance of conflict while delivering service within professional. In this, there is need to resolve those conflict effectively that can help to deliver quality service to service user. In this there is need for skill and approach which should be possessed by professional which can be used for better outcomes by resolving the conflict. Problem solving skill-This is one of the skill which should be possessed by the manger that can help to resolve the conflict and provides better impact on the individual. Communication- This is effective and allow to resolve any conflict more efficiently within health and social care. Through this any conflict can be solved. This allow to estimate the Stress management- This is it the skill which is effective to resolve any conflict within organisation. This can help to allow decrease the stress which provide better environment for everyone. Avoiding approach- This is effective approach to avoid the risk of conflict within organisation. This can allow to avoid the approach that can help to avoid any conflict within professional and allow to deliver quality service(Tadros, (2019)). CONCLUSION From above discussion, it can be concluding that within health and social care settings there is high importance of working relationship and personal relationship which are different from each other. In this, there is need to work with other organisation that can help to delivery some services with working together. In this, report there is discussion about working and personal relationship.
