Introduction
Constant and rapid changes taking place in the business environment has enabled the business
firms to have a closer look for the numerous factors prevailing in the business environment which make
a direct impact on the business activities and its performance. Emergence of pandemic has transformed
the way of doing business as workplaces are replaced by home office and physical operations are
converted into digital platform. The objective of the report is to identify the factors which have posed
several challenges for the business and enabled business firms to convert these challenges into potential
opportunities. For evaluating the challenges and opportunities due to COVID for the business firm
Andicars Ltd, which has seen the potential in the market to deal with the travel problems of people
amidst pandemic meanwhile keeping their safety and health as their first priority (Annosi and et. al.,
2020). The driving force of Havant operating since the year 1977 which is providing approximately
75000 jobs per weak and providing taxi services to the people of Havant and Waterlooville. Reason for
choosing this company is that it is one of the significant business units of hospitality industry
concerned towards taking care of the needs of people and helping them shifting from one place to
another meanwhile ensuring their safety and security along with boosting up the economic growth.
While working as a driver in Andicars Ltd, it has been observed that there is decline in sales volume as
people prefers to travel by their own cars rather than using public transport which has cause disruptions
in the business activities. The prime objective of this report is to assess the culture and context of
Andicars Ltd, appraise the culture and ethical behaviour presented and evaluate the organisation within
its broader environment using numerous tools. Business analytical tools used in the further report to
identify and determining the business needs are PESTLE analysis, SWOT analysis, MOST analysis and
Business model analysis (Chen and et. al., 2020). These tools will help Andicars Ltd to identify the
potential threats and several opportunities for the growth and prosperity of business firm. The below
report is based on Andi cars. It provides travel services in and around the area Havant. It is involved
with services like Taxis, Cabs, Minicabs, airport transfers and many more. It is associated with iPhone
and Android app which allows an individual to book as well as track your taxi by hundreds of cars in
all the areas. Through this, people can do several things like they can do the booking of ASAP and
future journeys, check the status of bookings, cancellation of the booking being done, track the vehicle,
call the booking office and many more. The report includes introduction with respect to the
organisation, certain analytical tools, PESTEL and Porter's five forces model, key drivers for all the
changes, workplace culture, relationship with the current culture, ethical dilemma and choices of action
(Angouri, 2018).
Task 1
Introduction of the organisation
The organisation which has been selected is Andi cars. It is based in Glouster's city centre and is
constantly operating in and around their surroundings. The company is a leading taxi of Glouster's and
is also privately hired that have around 90 vehicles and remains available throughout 24 hours a day.
Their services are across the nations and takes up each journey whether it is long or a short one
(Aboelmaged, 2018). Their vehicles include 4 seating saloons, 5-5 individual carriers, accessible wheel
chairs and certain luxury cars also. The enterprise always assure that all their consumers are being
offered best level services and attract them at high level. So, with respect to this clean all their vehicles
on regular basis, in good working order and all related signs are being displayed as per the regulations.
On the basis of their services, it is further explained below: -
Card payments: - It is one of the service which is recently being added. In relation with all the

card payments, the company implemented machines in all their taxis through which paying becomes
more easier. The enterprise accepts both debit as well as credit cards and also includes Apple Pay and
contact-less.
CCTV: - It is very crucial for a company that they ensure customer safety and must be their top
priority. So, on the basis of this, company enabled CCTV cameras in all their vehicles in order to add
peace of mind to every journey that consumer takes.
GPS tracked: - During the journey, all individuals want that they feel relaxed. So, in their taxis
they initiated a GPS system though which vehicles location can be easily tracked.
CRB checked: - The priority of Andi cars is always on the safety of people which is a very
important thing and every company should focus on that. So, they also take the aspect of safety in a
very serious way. Before becoming a team member, all the drivers are CRB checked.
Andi cars provide different kinds of services and through that attracted maximum number of
consumers. It is essential for an enterprise that they offer effective services so that they can attract
maximum number of people across the world (Annosi and et. al., 2020). With respect to this, it is
further being explained below: -

locations. So, with help of Andi cars, they help all individuals to reach to the specific location by
providing them all the facilities in taxis.
Mini buses: - Andi cars also provide mini buses which is involved with multi-seat vehicles and also 9-
57 seater coaches. The company offers these services in both the cases which are in relation with
subject to availability and the preceding notice also (Antony and Gupta, 2019).
Business environmental scanning and analytical tools
Both business environment and market environment are described as marketing terms which are
in relation with certain factors as well as forces that create an impact on the ability of an organisation to
maintain and manage successful customer relationships. The concept of environmental scanning is
defined as the procedure of acquiring information about certain programs and also their relationship
with respect to both internal as well as external environment. There are several analytical tools that are
used while doing environmental scanning like PESTEL analysis, SWOT analysis, interviews, market
research and so on. As per the below report, there are different tools which are being used with respect
to COVID-19 pandemic. Each business organisation use the element of environmental scanning as it
allows the company to make best level decisions by focusing on success as well as growth of the firm
(Bacq and Eddleston, 2018). They identify all their strengths and the associated weakness, threats and
different opportunities. In accordance with all the tools and techniques it is being explained below: -

INTRODUCTION
Work culture refers to environment which is surrounded employees all time. Workplace
culture refers to shared values, attitude, belief system and assumptions share by people working
in an organisation (Al-Henzab, Tarhini and Obeidat, 2018). These culture are shaped with
upbringing of individual, culture and social factors. In an organization leadership, management
influence, strategic direction create influence on people on huge context. Positive culture at
workplace helps to improve teamwork, increase productivity, enhance morale and efficiency and
also increase retentions of employees at workplace. It also helps to enhance job satisfaction,
work performance, collaboration. Good workplace culture helps to create environment which
helps to reduce stress of employees. This helps to improve engagement of employees with work
which helps to improve efficiency of employees working in an organisation. It also employees to
be more involved in enterprise and share their views with their seniors.
This project report includes study of Premier Inn which is a hospitality organisation
providing their service in different locations. This organisation is established in the year 1987 by
Whitbread in UK. This project report includes discussion of background of company and
introduction of environment analysis tool in order to identify various factors to be create impact
over business. Firm conduct various types of analysis including porter's five forces model,
SWOT analysis and PESTEL acommunications campaign to promote a product or service as
agreed with your tutor.nalysis. It includes identification of various change drives of company on
basis of using environmental analysis tool. Moreover it also include investigation of culture of
organisation and relation between present culture of organisation. In this, explanations of ethical
dilemma is also included of company.

Background of company
Premier Inn is one of UK based organisation which is established by Whitbread in the year 1987.
This organisation has around 72000 rooms as well as 800 hotels which is providing their services
on different location like suburbs, city centre, airports (Bacq and Eddleston, 2018). Company is
providing luxury services to their customers and also providing Twin locations. There are
various competitors in market like Marriott hotel, Holiday inn, Hilton hotel which are providing
competitions to this organisation. Company is also offering food and beverage services to their
