1 YOUR LAST HR EXPERIENCE Human resource department have several functions, they include training, compensation, recruiting and firing, safety and health of employees.I went to the human resource department to report about harassment and abuse of employees by the department supervisor. Iwenttoreportthecasesothatthehumanresourcedepartmentcouldstartan investigation and address the issue since it was affecting the performance of the employees.I was trying to discuss with the human resource manager to take an action against the supervisor because he had a habit of insulting the employees. I was requesting the human resource to come upwithprotectionmeasuresandlawsthatwouldgoverndifferentdepartmentinthe organization. My experiences experience with the human resource manager was a positive one because the issue was resolved. He called for a meeting with the employees to discuss the issue. He listened and understood what the employees were going through and made a quick decision of giving the supervisor a permanent leave to allow investigations (Pearson and Nelson, 2018). Theissuewasresolvebecausethemanagerlistenedtothegrievances.Healso sympathized with the employees and made a quick decision regarding the issue. The manger was able to communicate effectively in the meeting and emphasized on team work, a good human resource manager should have a have good communication skills (Taylor, 2015). The human resource manager addressed the issue in a professional way because he enhanced good communication skills, there was quick decision making, and he encouraged teamwork in the organization. I had a positive experience with the human resource department for the role they played in addressing the matter. I appreciated the fact that the manager was able to understand the employees.
