INTRODUCTION
Corporate social responsibility is a factor which defines the accountability of
corporate world towards the society. As company and other form of business are using the
resources for the completion of their business activity. These resources belongs to the society
only hence these corporate have the responsibility to return back the share of profit to public
and to offer them improved and better services and products which can help them to get the
goal of customer satisfaction (Ajmal, Helo and Kekäle, 2010). As customer satisfaction is
directly related with corporate social responsibility. In this report various concepts of CSR
and its attached objectives, advantages and disadvantages have been mentioned. Along with
this it helps in presenting the fact that why an enterprise should implement such elements in
its organisational structure. The present report is focused on Elm tree hotel which assist in
providing quality services to consumers. In the below mentioned report discussion on aims
and objectives of company and small scale research by using quantitative and qualitative

P1 Aims and objectives of business entity
Topic: “Implementing of CSR activities in the distinctive functional areas in the business
entity which assist in improving the profitability as well as productivity and meet the
sustainable objectives”.
Background of the study: Corporate social responsibilities are a different type of practices
which helps in managing all the operational activities and attain the success as well as
competitive advantage in the society. It provides the information to the stakeholders and staff
members to accomplish the targets. The present assignment is based on CSR activities of
chosen small and medium enterprise name Elm tree hotel to do routine operations in an
effective manner (Asif and et.al., 2013). The business entity has to fulfil their responsibilities
which are related to CSR and it also assists in embryonic the special rooms for special or
disable person. The business entity has to provide wheelchairs as well as other
accommodative amenities.
Aim: The staff members of Elm tree hotel have to develop the special rooms for the
consumers that are disable person or special person. Moreover, the employees of the business
entity have to provide the special facilities to them so that they can not face any issues and
these facilities are in terms of accommodation.
Objectives: The managers have to do market research and also determine the target market
which assists in doing the segmentation of the market place. They have to identify the desires
as well as requirements of the service users and the cost which are included in developing the
rooms. The staff members have to analyse the demand before when they are doing the
developments or improvements and by that they can justified to make the concern which is
related to the market place and attain the goals and objectives. Along with this by providing

P2 Project management plan
Project supervisor plan is a prescribed document and it is adopted by Elm tree Hotel
by which the staff members can manage the implementation of the projects. It aid in
preparation, integrating as well as coordination among the distinctive activities which assist
in attaining the goals and objectives in the competitive market place. Project administrative
bodies plan is essential or necessary as it focuses on the cost, time along with the quality and
conversation. The staff members of business entity have to do effective communication with
the service users as it aid in construction and maintaining faith. In the preparation employees
should do work as well as they have to manage all the work activities when they are having
complex projects (Bititci, U.S., 2016). The managers have to provide the practical projects so
that cost of the distinct projects can be reduced. Managers and higher authorities have to
describe or elaborate the plan to the shareholders as well as they also define the roles and
responsibilities so that they can attain the goals and objectives. The manager of the company
have to conduct the kickoff meeting in a effective way and appropriate way which assists in
discussing the hole projects along with the managing the whole projects which are complex
in nature. For attaining the success they have to improve as well as develop the scope
statement as it is important in project plan. The employees have to utilise the effective
resources so that they can not face any obstacles and reap the goals and objectives (Dumay
and Cai, 2015). They can use work breakdown structure as well as Gantt chart which aid in
dividing the work into different parts and meet the objectives along with the improving in

activities which they has to do. It includes in both qualitative and quantitative technique and
it includes the labelling and coding of data so that they can recognise the similarity or
dissimilarity.

tree hotel have to use or adopt appropriate tools and techniques in analysing the data or
information which aid in increasing as well as expanding the growth of the business entity in
the market specially at the time when they are facing competitive market. By means of the
quantitative and qualitative methods, the workers have to do investigate so that they can
congregate the definite information or data. Moreover, it aids in judgment the strength along
with the weakness of their rivalries which will assists in reaping the goals and objectives.
