EVENT REPORT
 What was their advice on how to get started in the industry?
The main advice from Michael was that we chose a job that we love, and well never have any regret
over it any single day. Further, there is a great potential in meeting various people, and networking. In
addition, before undertaking any job, we need to evaluate ourselves and know the things which
motivates us , and which are significance to us.
 What new ideas did you gain that added to your understanding of ACS and ICT?
There are several benefits gained from the interactions of the ICT AND ACS. These allows us to meet
other professionals and in doing so, our social online profiles need to speak volumes of who we are.
 How was the event topic relevant to your internship or future work?
The topic was of great relevance to my future work, as I will be able to ensure that my profile is properly
updated so that whenever I engage in job hunt, I find it easier more so via social media networks.
 What would you do differently at your next networking opportunity?
In my next networking opportunity, I would improve on my listening skills and ensure that whatever the
speakers put across, I note them down. Also, I will ensure that I ask as many questions as possible.
