Question 1
Complete the Herzberg Motivation-Hygiene Factors Quiz, and, if possible,
have members of your project team complete it as well. Based on the
results, explain what you can do to improve motivation. If you are the only
project team member to complete the quiz, then assume that your ranking
of the factors is representative of the whole project team. If you and
several project team members complete the quiz, then you will need to
aggregate the results. Keep in mind that you will need to correlate the
final result with how things actually work. For example, if salary is ranked
as the factor with the most influence on performance, you would have to
indicate whether salaries of the project team are, for example, market
related, higher than what the market pays or lower than what the market
pays. If the salaries of project team members are below the market rate,

then you would firstly indicate that fact and then you would indicate what
could be done to either increase salaries or to offset or reduce the
“dissatisfaction” effect on individual and team performance of lower-than-
