1. Introduction
For any company leadership, collectivism, fun and proper direction towards success
are the few reasons for which they decide to take participation in retreat plan. Company retreat
gives the associates to create advanced mission, vision and business strategies. The information
system development company which is selected for this project is ABC Private Limited. An
amazing company retreat has the capability to transform their designed and developed systems.
This step helps the companies to get elementary and long term sustainable success. For
accomplishing the retreat plan project manager and the administration needs to follow certain
basic guidelines.
The project manager will spend money for the employees to give them some off days to
motivate and encourage them. The location chosen for the retreat program is Canada. In the
native country the company has been very much successful but according to their new business
strategies this new location will give the employees of ABC Private Limited measurable
refreshment and motivation as well. However, before initiating the retreat program it is
mandatory for the company to develop a plan to avoid internal conflict and difficulties. A plan
has been designed and developed in the below section considering scope statement, WBS, cost
and project priority matrix.
2. Project scope statement
Before final inception of the project a planning document should be prepared by the
project manager by taking approval from the executives to take all employees to another country
to give them a new refreshed environment to have fun and entertainment. However, the company

executives are also involves to the annual retreat program. For meeting the goal, aim and
objectives project manager should fix the budget and expected timeline. In the below section a
detail event statement document is prepared and presented. The statement design for the project
is “retreat of ABC private Limited from Australia to Canada”.
Project objective
 To select the most suitable location where the employees will be taken for the
annual retreat program
 To provide them such a nature where they can refresh their mind sets with new
work energy and motivation
 To get familiar with the current social and environment and social condition of
Canada
 To accomplish the retreat project (from Australia to Canada) within an estimated
budget of $24,000.00.
Deliverables
There are certain specific deliverables for this retreat project or the collective objective of
the project is to select a great country or location where the company heads can take their
employees to provide them a refresh new environment. The days off will give them a chance to
relax their mind sets keeping it away from the regular work pressure. Though, ABC Private
Limited plans such retreat program every year but this time the annual retreat program was
planned in another country. Before taking all the employees at a time to another location it is
important for the project heads to settle all the pending works.
Even if any emergency changes are requested from the client’s and then those should also

needs to be accomplished by the company end. The total numbers of days estimated for the
retreat plan is 2 months. After 2 months they will again come back to their working Australia
working location with a refreshed mind set and working power. The food and lodging cost of the
employees are the responsibility of the company. Not only this but also the up and down flight
cost will also bothered by the ABC Private Limited. As they will be taken to a different country
thus a basic medical safety should be concern of the company authority. Therefore, they will take
some regular physician along with them.

 For this specific project the milestones are as follows:

 Milestone 2: Permission from the executives and finance head
 Milestone 3: Completing project plan
 Milestone 5: completion of project execution phase
 Milestone 6: Project closure phase completion
Technical requirements
Though, both technical and non technical components are required for the successfully
completing the project technical specifications considered for the company retreat project are as
follows:
 A voice circuit that the company used to use in the previous location or office
building
 The business should obey all technical legal policies and guidelines
 To avail internet connection along with gaming kits to keep the employees under
entertainment

Limits
 The current commercial, economical and political condition of the company is not
that strong but still the exact situation is still unknown
 A rough project estimation is being prepared though its need more specifications
 Accurate stakeholder and risk management plan is missing from the event detail
discussion
 With the dynamically changing financial analysis report the project plan and
estimated cost for the activities may change with time
 The Canada market needs to be analysis but it is not yet prepared following all
elements and components
 No performance measurement factors are considered
Exclusions
o The exact funding sponsors are not revealed in this project
o The outsourcing details and other employment service details are missing
o The stakeholders for this project are also not discussed
Review with customers
 Consumers review analysis is one of the most important things that must be
followed by the project manager and other associates. Based on the feedback
gathered from the customers the changes are needed to be done before initializing
the project.
 Current market analysis is other major part for the customer review analysis which
