INTRODUCTION Professional development plan is a document in which the continuous focus is to improve different areas of the individual. The person can also achieve the gaols and objectives in an effective manner(Anders, 2018). The report aims to analyse about understanding the importance of academic skills and professional development plan. MAIN BODY TASK ONE Defining multiple concept of personal and professional development Personal development is the process which helps the individual to attain different skills. They are also able to improve multiple aspects in an effective manner. Personal skills will help to complete the tasks in a systematic manner(Craig, Smith, and Frey, 2022). The students can achieve academic success in the university. Discussing different value of short term goals by identifying at least 3 personal examples There are multiple short term goals which can be achieved in the time span of 2 to 3 months. My shorts term goals are mentioned below: ď‚·I want to develop communication skills it helps me to build healthy relationship with the individuals. ď‚·I want to develop the problems solving skills to become more better in different situations. ď‚·I want to increase my patience leaves to reduce the conflicts. Discussing the value of long term goals by analysing at least 3 personal examples Long term goals can be achieved by the time span of 4 to 5 years.
