INTRODUCTION
Techniques and skills for applied linguistic means a person should have some English language
skills, fluency in one or two languages, good speaking and listening skills. Strong writing skill is
one of the non-English language. It is important to use easy words so that readers can understand
easily (Halgamuge, (2017)). The essay examines, effect of advertisement on readers and
influence decision of readers.
MAIN BODY
Advertisement
Advertisement is given to attract customers and provide them relevant information about new
product. Google Adwords means to give advertisement when people are using google and attract
customers. It helps in connecting with potential customers in right place and at right time. These
are some ways to attract customers and provide them relevant information. Advertisement are
presented in innovative and creative way and includes all the important details which is
beneficial for readers.
When giving advertisement, writer should use simple and easy words so that it can be understand
by readers. Writer should not use complex sentences or difficult words. Advertisement creates
positive impact on readers and influence their decision. It is essential to give advertisement so
that people can get proper information. It affects reader because if advertisement is attractive and
language used is simple then it is easy for readers to understand (Wilson, Roscoe and Ahmed,
(2017)). Linguistic choices affect reader as use of unfamiliar language is difficult for readers to
understand. Writers use language to create an effect on readers and attach to their emotional
feeling.
From the given example of Google Adwords, it can be noticed that it is used to attract customers
and allows to connect with potential customers in the right place and at the right time by placing
relevant ads on search results. In the example given, how to sign yourself online has been
explained and proper steps are described. This helps readers in sign in themselves online like,
create an Adword account, use online google tools which is available to decide geographical
regions which reader want to target. Own advertisement can be created and use keywords so that
people can search by using those keywords. It is easy to find relevant information and correct
details can be gathered. For more information option is available which help reader in
understanding more about Adwords. There is an option for customers who already have an
