INTRODUCTIONManagement is considered as an efficient way of administrating the services, processesand operations of an organisation (Anderson and et.al., 2018). The process of managementinvolves five basic factors in order to achieve an efficient and appropriate handling andcontrolling. These areas involve planning, coordinating, organising, directing and monitoring.The actual forte of management is to make the processing of all the processes smooth enoughthat it can have a positive impact on the employees and the overall environment of theorganisation. The report is about analysing the issue of high staff turnover in the Imperial hotel as thehotel is undergoing the problem of staff turnover and that too at a much higher rate. It has beenobserved that 80% of the staff has decided to leave the hotel and this can create various furtherissues such as dissatisfaction of customers, lower productivity rate etc. There are variousmanagement theories that can be applied in order to minimize the issue of employee turnover,thus motivating the employees so that they can stay focused enough so that it can help theImperial hotel to achieve all the outcomes and targets. As the Imperial hotel is currently facingproblems with the employee turnover, it is very important to resolve it as it is further causingother issues such as poor guest satisfaction, negative work culture, ineffective management etc. Itis obvious enough that when there will be fewer employees, the rest ones must not be able tosatisfy all the requirements of the customers. Thus, it creates further issues. Also, there arevarious other issues as there is the issue of ineffective leadership, much of the staff is on sickleave etc. This however contributes to a negative work culture of the Imperial hotel.Also,various methods including the use of management theories to resolve the issue have also beenincluded. Analysis of the issueThe issue that has been analysed in the Imperial hotel is going through presently is thehigher rate of staff turnover as 80% of the staff is leaving the hotel this year. Imperial hotel hasbeen undergoing a huge employee turnover and the possible reasons may be because of the lessamount of wages being provided to them, part-time workers leaving the company, lessmotivation and encouragement by the authorities. As per the exit interviews of some employeeswho were leaving the company, it has been analysed as the employees of the hotel were havingvarious issues with the Imperial hotel, because of which they decided to move out of the1
