This critical review evaluates the idea of “entrepreneurial education” within the given context of the Swedish education system. It includes literature review, methodology, findings, and analysis of three articles. The author argues that there is a need to develop local mechanisms for effective implementation of the strategy. The article focuses on the long neglected issue of an educational philosophy grounded in the entrepreneurial approach. The research findings are presented in a balanced view that clearly supports the argument of the author. Hence it provides a holistic understanding of both the perspectives.
