INTRODUCTIONThe small business enterprise contributes largely in the growth of the economy to thelarge extent. The government and the federation of the small business also engaged in theactivities to motivate the small and medium size business in the organisation. The FSB is decidedto invest 1 euro from the total spending of 3 euro for the development of the small businessorganisation. The NISA is small sized business firm that is helped by their government for itsdevelopment and growth (Ackermann and Audretsch, 2013). The competitive advantage of thecompany brings higher profitability in the business. The small business organisation builds anhealthy competitive environment in the organisation. The NISA develops various strategies togain competitive advantage in the organisation. The NISA is a retail shops which deals in theregional areas of the UK market and having less than 10 employees.This assignment studies the various aspect and the opportunity of the growth of theorganization. This studies the strength and weakness of the small business organisation. Thisreport defines various sources of the funding used by the small and medium organization. It isstudied that about 99% of the UK businesses are small scale enterprises. This report describes theaffect of change in environment ion the growth of the organisation and how the governmentpolicies affects the functioning of the small scale ventures.TASK 11.1 Profile of small scale business and strength and weakness of the enterpruiseThe NISA retail limited is small grocery shop and wholesalers in the local markets of theUK. This is small scale industry having 213 employees working with the company and annualturnover is up to 1.5 billion euro. Nick read is the chief executive officer of the NISA retailers.This uses various strategie3s for generating revenue for the industry and benefited by thecollective buying power of the larger group from the supplier of products for the retail shop(Altman, Sabato and Wilson, 2010). The organisation works in corporation with other to becomea large buyer group so that they can regulate the rate of raw material somehow and cancontribute in more profitability of the organisation. The headquarters of the company are locatedin the Scunthorpe, north Lincolnshire United Kingdom. This is an privately owned companywhich deals in retail sector in the market. The company was establishes in 1977 and is having 30years great history in the retail sector. Now the company is having more than 25000 local area

stores working independently in the market of UK. Dudley B Ramsden was former chairman ofthe NISA retailer in 1977.
