Introduction
This report revolves around developing an understanding of ethical values and
code of conduct associated with a professional group while assisting a social
group. The social group taken into consideration for this assignment is old age
people. People falling into the category of age from 60 and above are more likely
to suffer from mental illnesses like anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. This
report reflects on the relationship between a service user group and professional
occupational group. In order to draw reliable conclusions, the focus is laid upon
needs of service-user group and their compatibility with roles and
responsibilities of professional group. The report also focuses on the challenges
associated with dealing with old people having depression, anxiety or bipolar
disorder. In order to support the arguments in this study legislative frameworks
associated with the dynamics are also taken into consideration. In addition to
that, recommendations on the basis of conclusions are also given.
