INTRODUCTION Management refers to managing the resources of the firm in order to perform various activities of the organisation. Management assist in formulating policies and making decisions to achieve the objectives of the organisation.Management helps in communicating various goals and objectives of firm in order to provide job responsibility to employees. Management helps in settinggoalsanddividingtheworkandalsomotivatetheemployeestoimprovetheir performance. The Imperial hotel will be included in this report which is situated in London and have 500 bedrooms. It also has 3 bars and 4 restaurants and 12 conference room. It also has 6 head of department that consist of food and beverage, house keeping,Guest services , human resource's and training etc. This study will include the problem relating to ineffective leadership and management. Imperial hotel is having 450 staff in total and also have conference facilities for 1000 people. It will also include problem of poor monitoring and control. There are various problems whichImperialhotelisfacingwhichwillincludestaffturnoverpoormanagementand ineffective leadership, poor guest satisfaction and poor monitoring and controlling. This study will include various solution for the problems which imperial hotel is facing to increase customers for the hotel. This assignment will include management theory and its implication to resolve the problems faced by imperial hotel. This study will help in achieving the objectives of firm by solving the problems using management theory to manage the various operations of the firm. MAIN BODY Problem 4 : Ineffective leadership and management by previous head of department and supervisory staff including poor management and control procedures Imperial hotel in order to solve the problem of poor management and staff turnover can adopt the Administrative theory of Henry Fayol to manage the work and perform its function effectively and efficiently (Anderson And et.al., 2018).It provided with 14 principles of management which are as follows :ï‚·Division of work :According to this principle of management work must be divided according to the skills and knowledge of personnel to get effective results (14 Principles ofManagement(Fayol),2017). ThisprincipleofHenry fayolprovidethatevery employee are specialized in different areas and Specialization promotes efficiency of the

They are followed various techniques for effective management of problem. Such as: Giving training:Imperial hotel face many problems such as high turnover, ineffective leadership and management, high staff turnover, poor team work in front office and back office etc. So that, they are appointing consultant for solving these issues in the workplace. Therefore, advisor is giving advices for giving the impressive training and development to leaders as well as staff for appropriate monitoring and controlling of procedures in the hotel. Therefore, Imperial hotel must have adopted all techniques and theories for solving all problem in the workplaces CONCLUSION From the above study it has been concluded about the management which is responsible for managing the operations of organisation to achieve the targeted goals of organisation.
