INTRODUCTIONManagement refers to managing the resources of the firm in order to perform variousactivities of the organisation. Management assist in formulating policies and making decisions toachieve the objectives of the organisation. Management helps in communicating various goalsand objectives of firm in order to provide job responsibility to employees. Management helps insetting goals and dividing the work and also motivate the employees to improve theirperformance. The Imperial hotel will be included in this report which is situated in London andhave 500 bedrooms. It also has 3 bars and 4 restaurants and 12 conference room. It also has 6head of department that consist of food and beverage, house keeping, Guest services , humanresource's and training etc. This study will include the problem relating to ineffective leadershipand management. Imperial hotel is having 450 staff in total and also have conference facilitiesfor 1000 people.It will also include problem of poor monitoring and control. There are various problemswhich Imperial hotel is facing which will include staff turnover poor management andineffective leadership, poor guest satisfaction and poor monitoring and controlling. This studywill include various solution for the problems which imperial hotel is facing to increasecustomers for the hotel. This assignment will include management theory and its implication toresolve the problems faced by imperial hotel.
