PROJECT: DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNSHIPS AND WORK-BASED EXPERIENCE PROGRAMMESIn the current competitive scenario, Tesco is facing issue of attraction and retention oftalented employees so it is needed to arrange an effective human resource programme toattract and retain employees. The main problem is that new joiners leave the job very quickly,So, developed plan for a new programme named “Internships and work-based experienceprogrammes”. This programme will definetly help Tesco to attract and retain new joiners atthe workplace (Shields et al, 2015).The main aim of this project is to arrange the internships and work-based experience so thatthe best and talented employees can be employed within the workforce. Through thisproject, trainees and learners will be briefed about the working environment and culture ofTesco and associated working methods. I am willing to lead the project; however, I need toshow my skills and knowledge relating to lead this project. This report will show myleadership qualities that I have assessed using “Leadership skill Audit form”. Furthermore, Ihave created 360 PDP in context of my career as leader. On the basis of analysis, I came toknow about my leadership skills and where I am lacking behind.
