1.0 INTRODUCTION
Skills is defined as capacity and ability which is acquired from systematic, deliberate and
sustained efforts for carrying out job functions or difficult activities adaptively and smoothly that
involves ideas, people and things (Boyle and et. al., 2019). It can be categorised into general and
specific domain skill. This assignment is based on team or group where they learn various skills
and development for fund raising for Brain Tumor charity to help and support children, young
and adults who are affected from such disease. It is divided into two parts where in first part
there is development of skills and in second part it covers work performance of individual to
work in group at time of fund raising. This is group activity work assigned to students from
where they have learned various skills and improve their personal development skills. It
highlights improvement of different skills such as communication, teamwork along with
example. There is use of Gibb's model of reflection to know individual experience and personal
development research and planning.
2.0 AUDIT AND EVALUATION OF KEY SKILLS
It is very important for individuals working in team to evaluate their skills and develop it
(Cadet, Albertson and Miles-Berry, 2019). The group project is assigned to member of team and
analyse skills to know more about oneself and their capabilities. This assist in developing their
knowledge, skills and experience. It also helps in providing full contribution and improving
overall team performance. There is use of Gibb's model of reflection to know about one's
experiences and taking feedback and team targets for improvement. This group work helped me
a lot for my personal and professional growth and development. With this, I analysed my
strength and weakness for better work performance. Therefore, audit skill has been done to know
about skill for working in organisation.
2.1 Individual Development
Being the students I have done many group project which helps me to develop and
improve myself for better work performance. This project is based on rising of funds for Brain
Tumour Charity people and helping them to recover from it. With this project work, I learned
various methods and source from where organisation can raise funds to provide support and help
to affected people which includes young, children and adult so that they can get recover from it.

This can help me in future time period and without any issues and problem I can collect funds an
assist charity. I also build skills through this assigned work for better outcomes.
2. 2 Individual Skills
This exercise helps me a lot in improving and enhancing my skills and knowledge for
better outcomes. While I was performing work, I came to know about my strong and weak
points. As I focused to make my strength points to be more strong and improve my weak section.
There are various skills which are required for individual to carry out any work assigned to them.
For that skill audit has done which is described below:
Teamwork- In order to perform group exercise, teamwork is very important for
achievement of goal and objectives. Being the team leader of project work that is raising of funds
for Brain Tumor Charity, teamwork is important so that money can be raised and treatment is
provided to victims. This skills is possessed by me because I easily manage my team and their
work to complete the activity within given time period. This is my strength and I can easily
perform any work and manage it without any support. With the use of this skill, better co-
ordination can be formed within the individual members. It will assist in reducing the conflict
leading to higher productivity.
Communication- This is the most important skills which should be required within
organisation and members for better achievement of goal and objectives. Being team leader of
assigned exercise, I have to communicate with each and every member of group so that funds
can be raised effectively and efficiently. As I managed proper communication with my team and
also improve this skill more by working in team. Therefore, this can assist me for enhancing my
personal and professional growth. It is one of the most important skills, through which command
and instructions can be given to the team members without any ambiguity.
Research- This skill is required when there is more finding of any activity. The report is
based on raising funds for Brain Tumor Charity so proper funds can be raised and support can
be provided. While doing work, I found that my research skill is weak as I does not focus to
search more matter regarding topic and knowledge of topic is also weak. This is required to be
improved for better results. According to this skill, I would be at a better position to make
strategies which can help in accomplishing the goals with the knowledge gained from the data.
Planning- Being team leader, I made plans and policies in advance for better goal and
objectives achievement. It is very important to focus on each and every aspects so that better
