1.0 INTRODUCTION
Skills are defined as those capabilities and abilities which are learned with the help of
systematic and thoughtful efforts in order to carry out a job or other complex activities so as to
solve that with innovative idea or people. This can be bifurcated into general and specific skills.
This report is based on team and group where the individual is able to learn development and
skill in order to raise funds for Brain tumour charity so as to help people who got affected from
the disease. The report is divided into two parts, the first part carries development of skills and
the second part covers role of individual in a group in the process of raising funds. Further the
report includes explanation of various skills such as communication, teamwork. At last Gibbs’s
model of reflection is used so as to know about experience of individual and research of personal
development (Anvari-Moghaddam and et. al., 2017).
2.0 AUDIT AND EVALUATION OF KEY SKILLS
This is essential for individuals that they work in a team in order to exqamine their skills
with the view to develop them. This project is allocated to team so as to examine skills and
capabilities of each individual through which their knowledge can be developed which assist the
team in enhancing their overall performance. The Gibbs’s model is used to take out experience
of other in the form of feedbacks with the view to improve any loophole if found. This group
project helped me in my professional and personal development and progress. With the help of
this I examined the strengths and weaknesses which exist in me so as to audit skills for the
wellbeing of the organisation. (Bernard, 2017)
2.1 Individual Development
Being a student I have taken participate in various project through which I enhanced my
performance. This project helped me to learn various methods through which funds can be
gathered for Brain tumour charity and affected people can be provided as required support and
funds. This will assist me in future in such a way that I can easily collect funds and participate in
charity.

2.2 Individual Skills
This exercise assists me in enhancing my performance as I came to know about my weak
points. Similarly I emphasised on my strengths to that I could carry out the assigned task in an
appropriate manner. Skill audit is having various parts which are explained as under:
Teamwork- Being the team of the project of Brain tumour charity, the team was required
to work as a whole in order to accumulate funds. For this team is required to be delegated task in
an effective and proper manner (Ceri-Boom and et.al., 2017). As I have strength that without any
support I can complete my task and manage the whole team in a perfect manner. So I managed it
very effectively so that to minimise conflicts due to which the productivity of the team was so
high.
Communication- In order to attain goals in an effective manner, the member of every
team is required to have efficient communication with their team members. Being a team leader I
established communication between team members so that they can communicate to me directly
when they have any problem and they need my assistance. With the help of this skill without any
ambiguity I was able to delegate task to each and every team member.
Research- This skill is essential so as to find some more in some activities or situation.
With the help of research Brain tumour charity I was able to get to know about those areas where
our team is able to position their strategy so as to gather as much possible funds. This helped my
team to perform in a better way due to which we would help high in charity.
Planning- As being a leader plans and policies were made in advance so as to meet the
objectives. For the entire team member it is required to emphasise on each and every aspect so as
to attain the decided goals in a considerable manner. This is my strength that I am able to make
feasible plans which can be accessed by each and every team member.
Decision making- The group exercise is wholly based on collecting funds for Brain
tumour charity so for this on various aspects the higher authority is accountable to make
decisions. So for the process of decision making all the decision were taken by me which are
stick to the final goals of the project. By reacting in a prompt manner at all aspect made the team
more effective and productive (Chapsal and Vilain, 2019).
Problem solving- This skill is the most essential skill which is required in an individual.
There are high chances of conflicts in the team and leader is responsible to hear and solve each
and every problem. I found that team is not having appropriate skill to solve problem by own
