It is extremely essential thatan individual sets out his personal and professional development plan in accordancewith the goal alignment of the organization (Patton, Parker & Tannehill, 2015). Anotherthing which is noteworthy is that SMART goals have to be created to measure them thesuccess and implementation in a given time frame (Olsen, 2015).The important thing to note here is that dynamic leadership is flexible and highlyadaptive; one cannot follow a given set of instructions and excel in his life. There has tobe a stringent alignment of the goals, clarity of thought process and an understandinghow the goals will help in developing a personal and professional development plan(Grant, 2017).The purpose of the assignment here is to create a PPDP for leadershipdevelopment based on self-reflection and insights from the learning environment. Thereport will also focus on how to increase self -awareness by thinking on the valueswhich can influence life and career goals. Identification of gaps between the currentcapability and the leadership aspirations will also be mentioned in the assignment.Thus, the report will be a comprehensive analysis of goal setting, its alignment withprofessional objectives and personal and professional development of plans to achievethe set goals.
