Introduction
The personal and professional developmental plan can be considered as a formal means
through which a person develops strategies, goals and outcomes of training and learning
(Heckemann, Schols and Halfens 2015). This planning will consider generation of an action plan
relied on values, awareness, goal setting, reflection along with personal development with
context to the carrier and self-improvement. The development plan will consider following nine
steps including defining goals, priories, setting deadlines, realizing my strengths, realizing
opportunities and threats, developing new skills, taking action and attaining support. The
objective of this assessment is to develop a personal and professional development plan (PPDP)
for continuous development of leadership. In developing such personal development plan, a
related model or framework will be selected that will resonate with me along with justifying my
selection. PPDP will also consider the impact of organizational and national cultures along with
the social practices on my recent leadership viewpoints (Lester 2015). This will also consider the
ways in which I can be effective as a future leader in different cultures as we operate within a
highly global economy. The period of my personal and professional development plan will also
rely on my recent life and career stage.
Discussion
Personal development planning is understood as a supported ad structured process that is
followed by an organization in order to focus upon their learning, performance or planning for
personal along with career development (Robertson 2016). I gathered that the major purpose of

this plan that will be developed by me will be to be familiar with my own knowledge along with
taking responsibility of my learning.

Statement of your personal value
My statement of personal value is to inspire positive change by means of coaching and teaching
What principle emanates from this value?
To be honest, sympathetic and an impactful leader and to get recognized global within the
industry in which I work
What goal did you derive from this value?
I intend to attain this goal through using my intrinsic strengths along with leadership in order to
provide exceptional value added projects (Lussier and Achua 2015).

Statement of your personal value
To be a decent individual who respects his friends, family along with my selected communities.
What principle emanates from this value?
The principle that emanates from such value is to reflect on my personal values and enhance
lives of other individuals (Priestand Gass 2017).
