Introduction
The personal and professional developmental plan can be considered as a formal means
through which a person develops strategies, goals and outcomes of training and learning
(Heckemann, Schols and Halfens 2015). This planning will consider generation of an action plan
relied on values, awareness, goal setting, reflection along with personal development with
context to the carrier and self-improvement. The development plan will consider following nine
steps including defining goals, priories, setting deadlines, realizing my strengths, realizing
opportunities and threats, developing new skills, taking action and attaining support. The
objective of this assessment is to develop a personal and professional development plan (PPDP)
for continuous development of leadership. In developing such personal development plan, a
related model or framework will be selected that will resonate with me along with justifying my
selection. PPDP will also consider the impact of organizational and national cultures along with
the social practices on my recent leadership viewpoints (Lester 2015). This will also consider the
ways in which I can be effective as a future leader in different cultures as we operate within a
highly global economy. The period of my personal and professional development plan will also
rely on my recent life and career stage.
Discussion
Personal development planning is understood as a supported ad structured process that is
followed by an organization in order to focus upon their learning, performance or planning for
personal along with career development (Robertson 2016). I gathered that the major purpose of
