TOPIC: “How do multinational companies improve the recruitment, selection and training
of their employees to meet International requirements?”
INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is defined as procedure where there is integration and interaction between
companies, people and government globally (Beh, 2013). This has risen due to increase in
technology of communication and transportation. With rise in need and demand of international
requirements, it is very important for business to improve them in effective and efficient manner.
For surviving and sustaining in competitive market, they need to hire skilled and capable staff for
better work performance. The given company for project work is Nestle which is multinational
food and drink organisation founded in 1866 at Switzerland. The main purpose for this assigned
work is to know about how multinational companies improves their selection, recruitment and
training process for meeting international requirements with help of their employees. It covers
aim and objective of given topic along with project management plan and time framework for
completing work in given time period. There are various research methodologies which are used
by researcher for collection of data. It highlights about data interpretation, recommendation and
own learning through assigned work.

Background
Nestle is a large organisation operating business at global level which should adopt new
tools and techniques for meeting international requirements. They should recruit skilled and
capable employee for better work performance with help of proper recruitment, selection and
training techniques. This can assist to perform their business and operation at international level
with skilled human resources.
Purpose
Due increase in globalisation leads multinational organisation to improve their
recruitment, selection and training process for accomplishment of objectives and goals in an
effective manner (Boella, 2012). The main purpose of this study is to meet international
requirement through improvement in HR practices of business.

Research Objectives
To determine different methods of recruitment, selection and training.
To analyse effectiveness of implementing changes in recruitment, training and selection

Project management plan (PMP) is outlined as written document that is implemented for
describing all stage of given work (Cullen, 2013). There are various components of plan which
includes planning, monitoring, executing, initiating, controlling and closing. The respective
organisation has to do modification in their recruitment, training and selection process for
running business effectively and efficiently. The elements of PMP are cost, scope, time, quality,
communication, risk and resources. They are as follows:

Cost
It is considered as important elements of project planning which can help organisation to
know about necessity of amount of money for carrying out assigned work (Daher, 2015). The
cost occurred for various act has to be studied properly so that proper planning can be made. For
completion of project successfully, researcher need 5000 Pounds to accomplish given project
work effectively. The rough cost budget is as follows:
Scope
This helps in knowing about future application of assigned work for achievement of goals
and objectives (Festing, 2013). With the help of this research, organisation can easily analyse

identify major possibility of getting desired success easily. Major scope of this research is for
Nestle and for researcher as well.
Time
This is referred as particular period of time for accomplishment and achievement of
assigned project work in systematic way. In order to complete project, researcher takes around 7
weeks in which they can easily analyse each and every sources as well as can gather maximum
data in effective manner. In this duration, activities of research have been classifying in different
terms.
Quality
It is the significant element of project management plan that can help organisation to
achieve set outcomes in effective and efficient manner. In context of assigned research, quality is
maintained with use of proper techniques and tools (Florea, 2014). In order to conduct practices,
it is required for researcher to gather information from reliable and authenticated sources in order
to getting appropriate results. For investigator, it is also required to create a proper framework
for gathering views and opinions of respondents for gathering quality of information.
Communication
For this research, investigator has used feedback communicating method for gathering of
data and message. They can use social media communication technique to get information for
collecting data and information. On the basis of these kind of sources, they can gather more
appropriate information on which researcher can relay easily. Communication sources for
researcher can be survey method, interviews, social media platform and so on through which
they can identify views of individuals.
Risk
The market is full of risk which creates problems in survival and sustainability of
business (Gunnigle, 2013). The risks which has arise in front of researcher are funding, time
period and inappropriate data and information for assigned project. Thus, it is required for them
to analyse each and every aspect of research in appropriate manner in order to minimise
uncertainty. One major risk in this term can be confidentiality of data that requires to keep
secure. Data leak practices can create risk for investor and can reduce reliability of sources.
Resources

The resources required by researcher are time, fund and information. On the basis of
these resources, investigator can conduct a reliable research that assist in determining its
effectiveness. Secondary sources of information are books, journals, articles and so on.

This is defined as procedure that converts difficult and complex work into manageable
and simple task for better result achievement (Ishrat, 2013). This method helps in supervising
huge projects and performing it in effective and efficient manner. WBS is considered as
important time-framework which accomplish given project accurately and correctly. By using
such method, organisation can easily assign role and responsibilities to their staff, manager and
employees and check it timely. It helps in defining objectives of given projects where
stakeholders can easily grab it and complete work. This process is also useful in cost estimation
and time required in order to perform assigned project and measure risk.
