The human resourcemanagement in the company deals with hiring people, provide training and increases theirpotential to deal with the working environment. The importance of HRM is for both theorganisation and the employees. HR department is responsible for managing people and makingthem more effective so that they work effectively in organisation. Without having good humanresource practices firm will not be able to perform well. It supports in raising productivity ofbusiness and help in gaining more profit. HR manager hires more talented people and give themtraining according to their job role. This thing aids in improving their capabilities which givesbenefit to employer and employee both. Workers get more development and promotionalopportunities and which motivate people and make them positive towards the brand. Humanresource team gives reward to staff members on the bases of their efforts made in organisation.This is the best way through which enterprise can work with talented and deserving candidatesfor longer duration. Chocolate presence is a company which is involved in manufactures of chocolate. Thecompany started its work as a small organisation, due to its increasing demand in consumers thecompany expands its business in new markets. Furthermore, Microsoft is also taken for thisreport which is the American firm that offers advance technologies. It is the public limitedcompany that manufacture computer software, video games and many more internet services.The report will study about the different HRM functions and their purpose in chocolate presence.The Study will include strengths and weaknesses of recruitment and selection in HRM. Puttinglights on the benefits that are availed by the employee and the employer in the chocolatepresence company. Further the study will be done on the effective HRM practices that helpsorganisation to achieve its goal. Understanding the employee relationship that influence theHRM decision making. The study will be based on the employee legislation key elements and itsimpact on HRM decision making. Last but not least the study will be on different HRM practicesrelated to work.

TASK 1A) Ascertain different HRM function and their purpose. RECRUITMENT: In this process of HRM the suitable candidate is search for suitableposition in the company. In chocolate presence the company is recruiting candidate forthe vacant position in the company. The purpose of company is to achieve overallcompany strategy by engaging people. Through recruitment process the company is ableto create talented candidate in the organisation with the help of less investment(Ambergand McGaughey, 2019). With the help of recruitment process the company can identifythe needs of employee in the company. Recruitment process makes organisation tounderstand its present and future needs for the company. The company creates potentialjob application for suitable candidates. Recruitment purpose in company is to fulfil thelawful and the social commitments towards its employees. Company gets the benefits ofthe recruitment in forms of talented employees and preserves human capital in thecompany.TRAINING: In HRM training is main tool used to develop the skills in the employee.Training leads employee to learn and get knowledge of work about their specific jobposition. Training for different objective are different from other job position in thecompany. Training can be given on technical, quality, skill, soft skills, professionaltraining, team training (Blanco-Mazagatos, de Quevedo-Puente and Delgado-García,2018). Training can be given through following different methods of training like jobrotation, on the job training, job monitoring. Through training-and-development thechocolate presence company become cost conscious and can increase its budget intraining. The company purpose is to get efficient employee which will help the companyto grow efficiently and production will be on time without any waste. Training assessesthe potential that is present in the employee which becomes the part of the company.Company invest in training because untrained employees decreases the potentiality in theorganisation as compared to the trained employees(Gladys, Grace and Denis, 2018).

Performance appraisal for employee used to give theinformation about the employee to assess the quality of the work given by the employeein the company. Through performance appraisal the company can asses the skills and thebehaviour of the employee and the company gets the ability to keep essential talentedemployees in the company(Haleem, Kumar and Luthra, 2018). The purpose of thechocolate presence company is to motivate the employee to work on better position in thecompany. Performance appraisal is needed in the company to know the employeebackground which helps to assess the on the basis true work to the company without anycheating or breaking the laws of the company (Suharti and Sulistyo, 2018)..B) Different approaches in recruitment and selection and explaining their strengths andweakness.Human resource department of the organisation is always responsible for managingindividual, placing a new employee and provide them rewards. Management has to planning,organizing, developing an healthy culture in the firm(Lee and Cheng, 2018). To achieveobjective of any firm HR manager has to responsible to recruit the most capable qualifiedcandidate because if the candidates holds innovative ideas then it gives the best efforts to meetwith such particular goal of the business unit.Recruitment and selections: It is an essential HRM practices, which done by the humanresources management to placing an employee in right job at right time. Microsoft prefersexternal recruitment source to hire the fresh talent in the organization. Management has toprepare job advertisement and description to conduct interview(Mol-Gómez-Vázquez, Cánovasand Llorens, 2018). After that they have to select best candidate as an employee in theorganization. And then selected person gets an offer latter from the HR department which showsthe verification of the job.
