INTRODUCTIONLeadership and management plays a very important role in the organisational system. It isessential to lead the employees in effective and efficient manner. Leaders are most importantcomponent that directs the actions of every worker in proper direction and path. The companyincluded is Accor hotels that is a well established multinational hotel operating in more than 90countries. Q1. Leadership and ManagementLeadership and management are very important components that are executed in theorganisational system. In order to run company in effective and efficient mode, it is necessary tointroduce these concepts properly (Easterby-Smith, Thorpe, and Jackson, 2012). Leadershiprefers to the ability of any individual to influence the behaviour of workers towards attainment ofset goals and objectives. Every manager should develop leadership skills in order to carry outprocess in proper mode. On the other side management is a concept of administrating the wholesystem of company to ensure that work is carried out in conducive way. This responsibility liesin the hand of top level of management. Accor hotel industry have proper system of administration that guides its employees sothat organisation can able to achieve competitive advantage. It is responsibility of managementlevel to show right style of working so that mission and vision can be earned. Q2. Two different definitions of LeadershipLeadership is the process of leading and directing the staff members of the Accorhospitality sector towards the final purpose. Not all individual possess this characteristics ofinfluential behaviour. Every single member follows instructions of their leaders. Hence, effectiveleadership style should be introduced. Basically, managers also play the role of leader thatinstructs his team to reach final goals in set time period. There are certain policies, plans that hasto be followed by each and every member working in the organisational system. Therefore, it isthe individual that contains qualities of leaders (Laudon, and Laudon, 2015). Leadership is the art of directing their followers to the right path in the organisationalsystem.
