INTRODUCTIONThis report is based on the organisation behaviour, it is the process in which differentpeople will communicate with each other in administration. As BBC is the largest broadcastmedia organisation, it faces some problems therefore, they hire new director for betterchanges in the organisation. This report will describe the importance of organisation culturein the business. Furthermore, it explains the different motivation theories. Differentmotivation techniques are used to improve the performance of employees. BBC can motivatetheir employees and can enhance their performance. Through the motivation, BBC canimprove its business on regular basis. Apart from this, it also describes different teams incompany which will help to improve the growth and resolve the issues. To get better result inthe corporation, BBC has to follow the different leadership styles. Furthermore, through pathgoal theory, cited organisation can improve its leadership style which improve theproductivity of business. At the end, the report describes the different issues and factors thatimpact on the effectiveness of BBC. TheCharles Handy's model describes the culture of BBC for better understanding the same(Mohammadi, Soleymani and Mozafari 2014). As organisation is structure where individualscome together for a common goal. According to Charles handy's model, there are four typesof culture which the corporation follow; these cultures are as below-Power- In some corporation, there are directors and administrators who has power totake decision. These people are most important person at the workplace and are themajor decision-maker. In corporation, power remain with higher authority anddecision made by them will be final and all employees have to follow their decision.To bring the better organisation culture, new director of BBC has taken the charge.Power in administration bring the conflict in the organisation (Bahmani-Firouzi and

Azizipanah-Abarghooee, 2014). Moreover, power of the corporation will affect theemployees and their behaviours. However, conflict in business environment willaffect overall growth of business. The employees do not have rights to express theirviews and ideas on an open forum and have to follow what their leader says. Due tothis, manager of organisation sometime can be partial to someone. Task culture- In every organisation, teams are formed to achieve the target insystematic manner. Administration use task culture to solve the critical problems. InBBC, all employees have one common goal, through this process employees are ableto learn new skills and techniques. These new skills and knowledge will helpemployees to enhance their performance. All workers will give extra efforts tocomplete a common task and this process will help to make a healthy and friendlyenvironment in business. In such a culture, individual has to contribute equally andaccomplish target in the innovative way. Person culture- In some organisation, employees feel that they are more importantthan their corporation. Such corporation follows a culture known as person culture. Inthis type of culture, individuals are more obsessed about their own self rather than thecorporation. In this culture, employees focused on their facilities more. In the BBC,the workers are not happy with the corporation but there are various key people whobring the administration on the first priority.Role culture- In this culture, all workers are delegated roles and responsibilityaccording to their qualification and interest. In the BBC, the higher authority person isable to do better roles and responsibilities but the lower employees are not able tounderstand their roles and responsibilities (Zhang, Shah and Papageorgiou, 2013). So,to bring the changes in culture, it is very necessary for BBC organisation to specifyemployees’ roles. Different culture will affect the behaviour of the workers. Some culture affectsemployees positively; for example, task culture will bring the employees together. Throughthis culture, all employees in BBC will be able to share their skills and knowledge with eachother. Furthermore, in BBC employees are not happy with the job conditions and culture oforganisation. It is because of this that new directors are continuously trying to change thebusiness culture in an effective manner.
