Event Brief
The RIO 2016 Olympic Games was one of its kind event in the history of Olympics, the event pushed
the envelope of event industry to a whole new Zenith. The games provided the best possible
environment for breath taking performances where athlete enjoyed world-class facilities in a superb
village which was located in one of the most beautiful destinations of the world(Tang & Cooper,
2017). The venues were intelligently segmented into four Zones- Barra, Copacabana , Deodoro and
Marchana and were connected by state of the art high performance transport ring. The Rio Olympics
event celebrated and showcased sports in high spirits which was ably supported by the flawless
event arrangement which took the games to new height (Flynn, 2016).
