Task A: The chosen e-commerce model
The Business to Customer (B2C) is a business model that provides goods and services to
final consumers (Brandas, Mega, & Graciunescu, 2013, pp. 534). The B2C model has been
selected and it would be used to evaluate retail and supply of financial services such as financial
advice and income tax returns. The business model involves a transaction between companies
that sell products and services to individual consumers who consume these goods and services as
end-users. In most cases, business is started with a target of reaching out to small consumers who
form a large part of the product consumption. In the evaluation of the B2C business model, the
Cogneesol and DC Consulting (VIC) PTY ltd has been selected as the business names of the
chosen websites. Cogneesol prides itself on delivering true business outcomes that are not
offered by other competitors. A close evaluation of the market shows some other firms such as
DC Consulting ltd offer similar services and believe in providing cutting edge services to its
customers. For these two businesses, being in the same industry makes it possible to analyze the
nature and quality of services they offer. The links to the organization's business website have
been provided for each of the selected business for discussion. The screenshot of the two e-

TASK B: Website discussion
Businesses are always differentiated in terms of the goods and services they offer.
However, businesses classify themselves regarding the nature of the business they serve. The
business model chosen is B2C and it involves the provision of goods and services to final
consumers. The Cogneesol offer different type of services which target the final consumer. Some
of the services that Cogneesol provides to its customers include legal services, insurance services
finance and accounting which touch directly on the final consumer of the services. On the same
note, Cogneesol offers technology services that depict a picture of a growing business. It is very
challenging to have offer technology services that are consumed purely by the final consumer.
Some organizations would outsource IT services and consume them just like any other customer.
The nature of the Cogneesol services are diverse but all its services are not contracted by other
firms as consumer but not outsourcing. Some of the technology services offered include website
designing, smartphone application development, and internet marketing. The main reason for
categorizing Cogneesol as a B2C business is due to the nature of the market served. The market
share that Cogneesol serves on B2B capacity is very small because it is only limited to
technology services.
