INTRODUCTION
In currenr competiotive world, airline sector plays the huge role so to bring development in
the route network is one of top priority (Shao, Jia and Feng, 2020). However, aviation operations
and management industry employes varied group of individuals and trained them to perform
their best. Therefore, this can be stated that the avaition is the fast and ever growing field and its
operations are growing rapidly in all over the world.
The present report is based on business activities of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, This is
third largest and busiest airport in Europe in terms of passengers volume.
Furthermore, study is based on activities as analysis of facilities that meet out the
requirements of different ailrlines. Also, identification will be conducted towards examining the
legal and regulatory process for the chosen industry.
MAIN BODY
Ground handling facilities.
Ground handling can be termed out as the integral part of the airline operations. Thus,
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport strives takin initiatives to offer the improved safety and operational
efficiency for managing ground handling by setting standards, initaiting and inspiring the
execution of global solutions (Solomentsev, Zaliskyi and Zuiev, 2020).
Aircraft ground handling termed out as services of an aircraft at the time it is on ground and
parked at the terminal gate of the airport. Thus, ground handling facilities of the airport can be
termed out as the bolts and nuts of the airport industry. These are service entities that takes
various kind of specialized task and it has varied interdisciplinary enterprises that conducts these
task in synchronous manner (Carim, Saurin and Dekker, 2020).
Customer service functions-:
Ticketing- It is inclusive of the activities in which lot of customers will arrive at the airport with
tickets in hand (Goswami, Tack, and Šír, 2020). Hence, there are number of provisions at most
of terminals for on the spot purchase.
Check in- This can be termed out as the electronic check in facilities has become the one of the
effective facilities at the airport. Thus, customer agents will provide effective customer services
