Purpose of the project charter
This document (Project Charter) is developed to present various data related to deliverables,
brief schedule, major cost heads etc. Moreover, this document is developed to authorise
Student’s name as Project Manager for the project.
Project summary
Yes Chemist Pty Ltd is a famous pharmacy specialised in providing service for Health and
Beauty care in almost all major cities in Australia. To make their service and customer
satisfaction better, Yes Chemist took a strategy to overcome their few weaknesses in the
operational area. For the betterment, Yes Chemist has proposed a project to replace its
currently using information system for HR, Accounting and Inventory management with a
new SAP S/4HANA for SAP Business All-in-One.
To execute the project, Yes Chemist has awarded the contract to Victoria University
Information Systems Consulting (VUISC).
Project Requirements
To fulfil the requirement of Yes Chemist, VUISC shall first of all engage meeting with SMEs
to gather client’s functional requirements and manage user’s requirement to properly design
and implement the system. For which VUISC shall create the project management plan and
then start execution stage. The execution stage shall mainly consists of Ordering, delivery
and installation of hardware, Installation of SAP, shifting of existing information to new SAP,
Implement and train end users and receive an ‘Acceptance Certificate’ form client.
Major Deliverables/Milestones
Deliverables are the tangible information which VUISC shall be providing to Yes Chemist
along the course of this project life cycle. The major deliverables VUISC shall be providing
are:
Engage meeting between SMEs of Yes Chemist & VUISC for operational
information gathering & submit signed Minutes of meeting
Submission of Project management Plan
