INTRODUCTION
Media is defined as a channel of communication which make people familiar with current
issues across the world. Media plays a crucial role, as it promotes accountability and
transparency. Commonly, media refers to internet, newspaper, radio, television or any other
medium of communication. Media refers to a channel of communication through which facilitate
dissemination of music, news, promotional messages, education and other important information.
Different types of media influences society as well as individuals. This essay covers, two types
of media including broadcasting media and internet media. There is brief discussion over the
effectiveness of both the types of media. Similarities and differences are also mentioned in this
essay.
MAIN BODY
Broadcasting media comprises with television and radio which disseminate news, music,
advertisement and deliver some other important information in order to make people aware of
current issues across the world. The media disseminate all the news to a large heterogenous
population. Broadcasting media have synchronously changed the facets of the nation and existing
societies in the nation. Media altered the horizon of common people. Broadcast media started
along the radio broadcast experimentation. People get influenced by the disseminated content
because it includes audio as well as visualized content. It spread good messages to the audience
as it brings creative thoughts from the young generation (Murray, 2018). It makes audience
familiar with benefits of the goods as it is a very effective medium of advertisement.
Broadcasting media provides different information different mediums such television, movies
and radio. Broadcasting media is very good source of entrainment. Hundreds of TV channels
share various types of contents including news, movies, drama, politics, cartons, nature, religion,
animations and sports. Radio waves transmit educative, informative and entraining content
across the world. It is widely used for advertisement of the products with the purpose to make
audience familiar of benefits of the products. It also disseminate weather change and traffic
during commuting. Movies and screenplays have worldwide reachability because it also promote
cultures and brings social awareness (Kleinberg and Lau, 2019).
