1. Outline five key benefits to an organisation for developing and implementing
workplace policies
and procedures.
Ans. - The five benefits which the used for development and implementation of workplace policies
and procedures are as follows:
The employees should be provided with all the knowledge and briefing about the work or
task which they have to perform in the organization. The output which the employees are
giving in the organization and the output which is expected from them should be mentioned
to the employees so that they work with full efficiency and enthusiasms. The behaviour and
attitude of the employees also matters in the output produced by them in the organization.
The team leader or the group leader provides all the guidelines, rules, regulations and
policies followed by the organization while completing any task or activity. This helps to
avoid the misunderstanding and confusion among the employees of the organization. If all
the employees will follow the same guidelines then a level of equality and trust will be made
in the organization.
The organizations having clear policies and procedures will have to adopt the clear and
consistent response with the other organizations and firms of the market. The employees
will also avoid the situation where the chances of miscommunication are high in the
organization.
The rules and policies makes a clear path according to which the employees have to work in
the organization. Every employees is working according to rule's and policies of the
organization which helps in them in taking the important decision by their own. The
employees will not disturb their mangers or senior manger by asking small things and issues
continue sly in the organization. The workplace policies will help them in taking their
decisions by their own.
The higher authority can sets a framework for the decision making policies of the
organization.
2. Discuss the purpose of each of the following Acts and for each Act explain why the Act
is important
for ensuring effective workplace relationships
Ans. - The importance of following all the acts in the organization are because of the following
reasons:
The proper policies and procedures helps in making the discipline among the emp0loyees of
the organization.
It helps in performing the organizational activities in more organized way.
A code of conduct is developed in the organization.
The policy of deduction in the salaries of the employees if they will be absent created
regular presence of the employees in the organization.

The senior mangers don't have to worry about the small and petty issues faced by the
employees in the organization, because because of proper rules and policies these issues are
solved by the team leaders of the various teams.
3. Outline key steps that should be followed to identify and resolve workplace problems
and to
promote effective workplace relationships.
Ans – Step 1- Identify the problem and disagreements among the employees of the organization.
Step 2 – Try to find out the reasons behind the occurrence of these problems in the organization.
Step 3 – Establish a common goal and mission for the employees which they have to achieve in the
organization.
Step 4 – Discuss the procedures and method to be used to achieve the goals and missions of the
organization.
Step 5 – Discuss the barriers and problems which may occur while achieving the mission.
Step 6 – All the employees should agree on the common solution bought upon by the team leader to
solve the barriers and problems which may occur while achieving the mission.
Step 7 – The employees should take the initiative by their own which will help to come over from
the problems of the organization.
4. Discuss three effective conflict resolution techniques that can be used to support
effective
workplace relationships.
Ans – The effective conflict resolutions techniques that were used to support effective workplace
relationships are as follows:
Listen to the problems of the employees of the organisation and then come out with
best possible solutions.
Conducting group meetings in which every employee will have the right to express
their problems and their expectations from the organization.
The partiality behaviour with the employees should be avoided in the organization.
The leader must have impartial behaviour with their employees.
The conflicts and problems arises in the organization should be solved immediately
so that the work does not stops.
The team work should be promoted in the organization..
The employees must be motivated in the organization so that they work effectively to
achieve their goals.
5. Explain the purpose of a workplace Code of Conduct and how it can assist in ensuring
a
harmonious workplace.
Ans – The purpose behind conducting the code of conduct among the employees of the organization
are as follows:
It helps in enhancing of organizations core values and beliefs among the employees of
the organization.
It helps in providing a clear vision and mission of the organization to their employees so
that they work in proper manner.
