INTRODUCTION
This research is based on a case study of bounce fitness, an Australian fitness chain with four locations.
This report contains portfolio evidence, including a personal and professional growth plan for the work function
of assistance manager at a bounce fitness location in Sydney. In addition to this personal development plan,
responses to knowledge questions were offered as part of a professional development plan for staff
responsibilities such as fitness trainer and receptionist.
Task 1 – Portfolio of Evidence
Part A – Personal professional development plan
1. Support staff to develop work goals that align with their role and responsibilities
Improvement in interpersonal skills is one of the work goals that aligns with personal obligations and
facilitates professional development. This corresponds to the duties and responsibilities of the fitness assistant
manager. This is because better interpersonal skills enable successful teamwork and enhanced communication
with team members and customers, allowing the Bounce fitness branch to run smoothly.
