Introduction
It is crucial to assess the performance of employees to ensure the better working of
employees in an organization. People performance refers to the practice applied by
employees to work in an effective way to give their best. The performance of the employees
is the main contributing factor that adds value to the company. The management of
performance is too compulsory to keep track of every individual working for the company.
The proper established management help the organization manager to identify that which
employee is working and have ability to give their best and which is not performing well
(Abad and Borbon, 2021). The management of people performance creates an effective
working environment within the organization that courage them to work better. This report is
a case study which will focus on techniques and tools that can be effective for improving the
performance and overall outcome of the BUNI Travel. BUNI Travel is a Bolton-based travel
agency. The travel agency works with small group of people and the organization now want
to focus expand the business and growth of its company by improving the performance. The
travel agency also decided to focus on well-being of employees so that they get motivated,
and their role and performance associated with organization get improved. Additionally, the
report will also cover the PESTLE analysis of organization.
What tools and techniques will help improve organizational
performance?
The performance management is important as it helps in improving the performance
of organization as well as individual. The performance management technique used by
organization to keep access of the performance of the employees and evaluate their progress
within the organization. In reference to the BUNI Travel, the techniques and tools which may
help organization to improve the performance:
Performance appraisals- Performance appraisals is the best technique to use and
motivate the employees to work harder and get extra paid for their extra efforts. This
technique is usually deals with combining the individual goals with organizational
goals and work together to achieve the predetermined target (Abbas, 2020). In
context to BUNI Travel, the appraisals will help identifying performance of the
people whether the responsibilities performed by them are up to mark or not.
