Jozé Braz de Araújo and Silvia Novaes Zilber conducted this study with the objective
of companies to understand factors leading to social media usage for achieving outcomes. In
this study, the theoretical model was tested and proposed in the companies along with data
collection. Though, the data was collected through surveys after analysing by using the
“structural equation modelling technique”. Social media in terms of communication promotes
a new form between individuals and companies where tools are used such as Twitter,
Facebook, YouTube, etc. on the Internet. Significant use of such tools alters the relationship
by promoting conversations and communication between the company’s customers,
stakeholders, suppliers and employees, and the company along with the general public
(Araújo & Zilber, 2016). Social media is a sort of solution to embrace companies across the
globe characterizing various issues that can be problematic such as customer relations
improvisation, new products promotion, recruiting employee and information dissemination
to employees. This resulted in social media providing advantage in companies observing the
factors important at the time of adopting as well. In the big companies, there is a presence of
formalized OS (organizational structure) that shows an organisational disposition strong for
adopting innovation.
As per the five tests, Reliability shows the authority presented in this article as both
the authors are experts in this region and published in Brazilian Business Review showing a
credible source. This article was published for the staff to understand the importance of social
media in workplace within the case of communication and interaction inside and outside the
company. In this article, transparency is maintained in relation to survey done for data
collection. Objectivity describes the use of social media for better outcomes using the Internet

the potential of social media in organisational performance enhancement along with more
empowered workforce. In the company, social media applications emergence creates
opportunities while promoting employees and their engagement improvisation collaboration.
It is easy to communicate for employees along with sharing information both personal and
professional among the workforce. In this paper, the relationship between using social media
internally and engagement of employee within the company has been explored (Haddud,
Dugger, & Gill, 2016). Also, the data was collected from employees revealing about the
variations in this study by career bands and business division. This shows the result of greater
self-reported social media use internally is equals to great self-reported levels in engagement
of employee associated with readiness for change, entrepreneurship competencies, and
communication.
As per the five tests, Reliability shows the presence of authority as all authors are
professional and qualified as the paper was published in Journal of Social Media for
Organizations which is a credible source. In this research, the considered audience is people
to understand about the importance of social media and its impact in business. The data was
collected by employees that show transparency maintenance in case of professionalism.
Objectivity was based on exploring the use of social media internally within the company
along with employee engagement helping is communication and sharing information.
