INTRODUCTION Business information system refers to the information that companies uses to manage themselves effectively and efficiently which is being typically through technology and computer systems. Primary component of business information system includes software, hardware, data and various other procedures. It is the sets of inter related procedures using IT infrastructure in an enterprise to disseminate and generate desired information. NHS is National health service and publicly funded healthcare system which is based out of United Kingdom. It refers to government funded medical and health care services provided to general citizen to UK at reasonable and affordable cost. Present report will provide brief understanding to characteristics and global significance of green computing, evaluate various organizational opportunities and challenges posed by green computing. It will explain and analyse how are the green computing requirements relevant to the app. BIS solution and business strategy being chosen. It will explain theory which are being related to BIS and how it can be applied in various scenarios. MAIN BODY TASK 1: Global significance of green computing Technological advancement has empowered organizations to improve their working from traditional working to current digitalized working by which its performance can be improved. But due to increasing negative impact of technology on environment organizations have to implement eco-friendly characteristics in its product developments, which has lead to green computing (Kumar and et.al, 2020). With these enhancements organizations like NHS can improve their performance on the ground level and also at the same time reduces impact on environment by implementing disposable products and reduced carbon emission from the products. In order to achieve this, organizations are improving the efficiency of the product in such a way that high output is achieved at minimum input consumption, this can be seen in the present time when products are much more efficient than compared to traditional products. Through which electrical consumption of products is reduced due to which comparatively less amount of resources are being utilized for electrical generation.
In order to increase the percentage of green computing electronic products are being utilized on a global level which can be seen in case when mechanical systems where replaced by electrical systems and currently at majority of cases electronic products are being used. This signifies that the world is taking some serious steps in terms of reducing its resource utilization but also at the same time is motivated for improving the efficiency of product at reduced size (.Singh,MahajanandSood,2019).ThusorganizationslikeNHSareimprovisingtheir organizational working strategy in such a way that they are able to reduce the e-wastage of organization by reusing its products for which they have to recycle their products. This can also be seen in case of cloud computing in which data is stores n internet through which less space is consumed on physical hardware of the user due to which buying of new hardware for additional space gets limited. TASK 2: Organisational opportunities and challlenges posed by green computing As green computing is environmentally responsible and eco friendly use of computers and their resources there lies lots of challenges and opportunities in this for an organistions. This strategies helps in creating value, innovate and helps in building competitive advantage. Opportunities-it helps the organisation to improve and enhance and environment sustainability. It helpsincreatingenergyefficientITsystemswhereit notonly benefitsenvironment sustainability but also accounts to various efficient business processes and practices, which includes manufacturing and carying out services which helps in attractino of target customers at a wider range and helpscompany to grow in favourablemanner. Ithelpsin availing opoportunity of efficient and effective design, creative manufacturing, use, operationand disposable of communication and computer system which includes various hardware, software, networks and storage which aims with Zero and minimal impact on environment (Müller, Kiel, Voigt, 2018). This helps in benefiting environment by increasing energy efficiency by lowering various gas emission, using materials that are less harmful and helps in reducing consumption of resources in a manner that they are being utilised promionently and encourages to recycling and reuse. Company opportunities also lies with information system to support, assist leverage various activities and applications in domains which helps company to reduce energy and resource cosumption which also helps in accounting to various carbon footprints. It helps in providing opportunity for re engineering, coordinating and optimizing the supply chain, organizational workflow andvarious activities to minimize impact on the environment in favourable manner. It lays down the opportunity of making business system, operations more energy efficient, helps in decision making in the company by modelling, analysingandstipulatingvariousenvironmentalimpacts.Ithelpscompanyinproviding platforms for management that are eco friendly and not accounts to emission, it helps in providing knowledge of the environment which can be analysed by the company to support its maangement system and accounts to decision-making in the company (Albahlal, 2019). It helps in promoting green awareness among various stakeholdersand helps the same in promoting green initiatives which includes uses of various social media platforms and various other means on how to spread awareness among various issues such as creating energy efficient process and various others. Challlenges-Thereare variouschallengesfaced by thecompanyin regardswithgreen computing which can be with the company facing problems with eco-friendly design that involves complex business process in designing energy efficient and environment friendly components for various computing systems (Farhan, 2018).Includes challenges of usage of green materials and various process that are optimised of manufacturing components related to greencomputingandvariousotherssubsystemswhichhasminimalandnoimpacton environmentwherecompanyhastofacevariouschallengestoimplementthesame. Its challenges also lies in reducing energy consumption, by optimising efficiency and using the system which are in ways of being environment friendly and favourable manner. It lies with avoiding non scientific disposals by proper implementing and recycling of various computing component that are non harmful and in ways which are eco friendly and being safe. Company also account with the challenges of abiding by various green standards and policies which can helps in comparing, promoting and bench marking its various services and products (Todeschini, 2017). In nutshell it could be understtod as challenges that lies with maximising energy efficiency, promoting recycability, reducing carboon footprints, various harmful emisssion and helps in devicing various efficent disposable methods.
TASK 3: Green computing in terms of app, BIS and business strategy 1.Overview of objectives- Organizations have to develop its organizational working structure in such a way that it is able to develop a effective relationship with its customers such that it is able to reduce the chances of brand switching. For achieving this uses sources like application because of high customer engagement but also at the same time company has to manage its data and for which it has to store its data in cloud storages like BIS solutions which will reduce its expenditures on buyinghardwareandmanagingstorages.Throughthiscompanycandevelopeffective organizational strategy which will improve its performance in front of its customers (Beynon- Davies, 2020). 2.Proposals to address reduction Before understanding the solution the problem has to be understood, computing products are made up of hardware and software. In which hardware part consist of two factors electrical part and electronic part, in which electronic parts are small and consume less energy. On the other hand electrical parts consumes comparatively more energy and requires resources at large amount to be generated. Therefore product must be made in such a way that comparatively large amount of electronic products must be used by which work efficiency can be increased and also at the same time product size can also be reduced through this negative impact on environment can be reduced. Increasethequantityofelectronicproductsisbeneficialforlongtermenergy consumption but with that organization also has to reduce its expenditures in the short term events like consuming hardware products for storing data. It is important for organization that it is able to efficiently manage its customer data in such a way that it is easily available and efficiently manageable (Brandon, 2016). In this step organizational data is stored on cloud by whichexpendituresonbuying tangiblehardwareisreduced.Thiswillbebeneficialfor organization because since tangible hardware are reducing in number then in that case company can save spaces for storing its data and also at the same time efficiently reduce the unnecessary data. 3.Proposals for addressing Reuse
Organizations like NHA improvise their use of organizational resources with time in such a way that high organizational performance can be achieved at minimum expenditures. Company is implementing the latest technological advancements in its work process due to which it is able to increase its working capabilities in such a way that high organizational performance can be achieved. Thus organization is increasing its involvement in other technological advancements due to which it is reducing the use of existing organizational resources. This will make a negativeimpactoncompany'sperformancebecausecompany'spreviousexpendituresfor improving its working capabilities will be of no use, therefore company has to improvise its working strategy in such a way that it is able to reuse its products. This is important for company to use its resources because the workforces are provided training as per the products and if new resources are being used then training has to be provided again which will increase company's expenditures (Hosseini and et.al, 2016). In terms of green computing organization can reuse its outdated organizational resources for training the new joining about the basic organizational working process by which employees will be able to efficiently get a faster understanding. Apart from that green computing products canalsobeusedasaframeworkfordevelopingcustomizeduserinterfaceasperthe organizational requirements. This will enable organization to reuse its previous expenditures for developing a effective computing which will be having the good qualities of existing product and also have the technological advancements as per the new technology which will increase the goal achieving capabilities of the organization. 4.Proposals for Recycling Recyclingisonethemainadvantageofcomputingproductsbecausetheyare environment friendly, thus make less negative impact on environmental conditions and also with that it can be blended into other form which will improve organizational working. Recycling is the process through which a unused waste product is changed into something useful such that it can be used again. Thus green computing products are also recyclable which means that their specialities can be used again as a raw material for the development of new product (Dornberger, 2018). This becomes more important in case of NHA because it has to develop products in such a way that organizational expenditures because company provide hospitality services to its wide range of customers. Therefore its products are specially made in such a way that the computing facility of the organization is continuously connected with that internet to efficiently reach its

customers for fast service. With that the computing facility must also be able to quickly respond to the users and also at the same time capable of storing large amount of data. This is important because if in special cases internet facilities is interrupted then product must be able to store large number of data because if the information is not stored or processed then it will make a negative impact on company's performance. 5.Business strategy for improving social, economical and environmental impact Organizations like NHS are increasing their geographic and demographic reach in such a way that organizational customer count can be increased and this in order to achieve this company has to improve its reach with organizational customers in such a way that their engagement in organizational activities can be increased (Beck and et.al, 2017). Through this company will develop effective communication bridge in such a way that chances of brand switching can be reduced. Thus in order to achieve this company has to utilize all the necessary customer data through which it can provide services on that basis and for that company has to utilize computing options. Using computing options like app organization can increase its reach directly to its customers and by using BIS solutions company can efficiently manage its data through cloud computing in which limited hardware are used. Through this cloud computing company manages to reduce its organizational expenditures by reducing hardware buying and also it enables organization to reuse its investments in previous products. By this company's goal achieving capabilities will increase because its expenditures are reduced resulting a strong economic background. TASK 4: Theories for Business information solutions There are various theory which justify the proposed business information solutions which are being mentioned as below Delone and Mcleans theory– it is being classified in six major categories and can be termed as six dimension of success of information solutions such as that is its information , system and servicequalitywithintentiontouse,beinguser-friendlyandwithnetbenefits,which demonstrate proposed association between its various success dimensions. It can be interpreted as follows where a system can be evaluated in terms of information, service quality where the characteristics affect the subsequent use or intention to use anduser satisfaction which as a
result helps in achieving certain benefits. This net benefitts can certainly be positive and negative and which influence satisfaction of user and the further use of information system. Each of this variable is a composite of of diverse measures (Dornberger,2018). It states that information quality and system quality both affect and impact on use and satisafaction of user , which states that amount of use can affect user satisfaction in favourable as well as unfavourable manner. User satisafaction and use are directly related with each other and can be said as antecedents of impact on individuals which results in impact on the company. Diffusiontheory-thisisthetheorywhichwasbeinginitiallydevelopedforfarming technologies, has been utilised and modified in several other technologies and diciplines. It sates diffusion of innovation perceives that innovations are being communicated by a channel over time in a system that is social in nature, it is the theory that sees to explain how, why and at what rate new ideas and technologies spread. It states that technological innovations is new progress and mixture of non material and material which helps company to expand and account to effective management of business opetrations and are originated from social psychology, the theory of reasoned action which takes into consideration person's behavior is being determined by behavioral intention, where intentions are functions of persons attitude and which contains the performance of the behaviour with technoloogy acceptance . Diffusion occurs through various decision making process which occurs through series of communication channels over a period of time along with the members of a similar systems where it identifies stages such as awareness, interest, evaluation, trial and adoption with the innovation that aaccounts company to supports its day to day functioning of business operations Goodhue and Thompson –this states that for information system to have positive and favourable impact on performance opf individual, the technology should be expoloited and must be a good fit with the task that its supports. Task technology fits offers a robust basis of number of issues associated with impact of informatio technolog on the individual performances, which includesrecognisingimpactofuserinvolvementinperformance(Wiesche,2017).Tak technology fit is new technology initiations and which helps in assist in recognising drivers of acceptance for proposed intervention aimed at groups of users that could be less prone to utilise and embrace systems tha are contemporary in nature. The knowledge based view of the firm-Tihistheory is buildupon and extends the resource based theroy of the company which discusses various facts to knowledge integration which
relates to scope, efficiency and felexibility and four initial mechanism by which co-ordination of knowledge occurs such as directives and rules, routines, sequencing and group problem solving and decision making. It postulates services being rendered by resources that are being tangible in nature depends upon how they are combined and applied which in turn serves as function of the company know- how. Knowledge based resources are usually very difficult to copy and imitate and which are socially complex therefore this view of firm which is being knowledged base that these may help company in sustaining long term competitive advantage(Bichler, 2016) Nolan stages theory-it satesset of concepts that helps in understanding absorption of IT in a company. It centers on the topic that all companies expenditure on its computer system are focused on S- shape curve over the time period, which helps in pursuing common models of learning curves and various experience curves. It suggest that every organisation crossses with the four stages of learningthat is initiation, contagion , control and integration which helps in determining organisational learning (Creon, Grover, Teng, 2017). It states that each member the company builds their personal depiction of theory of company in use and tries to appreciate and express themselves and their performance in the laid perspective of the company. CONCLUSION From the above analysis it can be concluded that technological advancements are changing the ways of running organizations and interacting with each other which is much more efficient than traditional means. This is good for organizations in terms of growing business but it makes a negative impact on environment and therefore organizations have to change the ways of developing products due to which green computing has to be implemented. This is a new field in which technology has to grow itself and due to which it is facing challenges and is limited. Howeverwith theproper integrationof smallconsecutivestepstechnologycan makea significant impact in fulfilling green computing requirements. Green computing can be spread through the means of software and hardware, in which hardware can be used for recycling product with that software can be used for remote monitoring of physical implementations of consecutive steps.
