INTRODUCTION
Business information system can be described to set of interconnected procedure that
uses IT infrastructure within business organisation for the purpose of generating together with
disseminating desired information (Beynon-Davies, 2020). It is designed for the purpose of
supporting decision making among people that are associated to company in the phases of
objective attainment. For the project, selected company is Ace Solution that operates within
paper and packaging sector.
The work covers characteristics and global significance of green computing. It further
evaluates opportunities and challenges that are posed by green computing. Moreover, it explains
and analysis the ways to address green computing requirements that are related to app, BIS
Solution and business strategy. It also explains theory and application of it.

Characteristics as well as global significance of green computing
Green computing refers to environmentally responsible addition to eco-friendly
utilisation of computers addition to their resources. It is the study to design, engineer, use
together with dispose computing devises so to reduce associated environmental impacts (Ahuja
and Muthiah, 2018). Within Ace Solution, green computing assist in reducing utilisation of
energy from green techniques by translating lower carbon emission, conserving resources and
steaming from decreasing in fuels used in transportation. Key characteristics of green computing
