Task 1, Part A
Introduction
The report consists of Apple company that is a multinational company and is
headquartered in Cupertino, California. The founder of the company are Steve Jobs, Steve
Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. The report will consist of the historical event of the Apple
company and the company's founder Steve Job's. The managerial skill and the leadership
qualities are discussed. The approaches that will help in solving the issues of customer
satisfaction and product quality.
Specific situations in history of Apple showing various managerial skills
and leadership qualities.
Simple and inventive
In 2001 the release of iPod was a game changer in the history of Apple. The company
introduced I tune that are opened to the portable device market as well as for the digital
marketplace for the downloads. The success of the Apple company is due to the success of the
iPod. Steve Job have skills to invent and simplify things in the devices he creates. The
introduction of the iOS which is an operating system for the mobile devices is simple and is
powerful to extremities. The Apple devices would not be of any use without the iOS software. In
line the Apple releases another device in 2009 called the Magic mouse that have a capability of
multi touch (Rominger and et.al, 2018).
Focus
In year 1990 when Steve jobs joined Apple again, he was focused. The only thing that
makes Apple famous is the focus of Steve Jobs on the few projects rather than distributed over
many. After joining the Apple again, he focused on few products that he considered to be useful
and discard the other projects under development. Job's vision is to focus on few things to
develop them in the ways that it fulfil all the needs of the consumer (Santos and et.al, 2018).

Deliver results.
In the year 2019 Apple was second most valuable country of the world. This shows that
the vision Job has was being implemented to get the results. The revenue of Apple in 2018 was
265.6 million U.S. dollars.
Customer satisfaction
Steve Jon was into producing the products and devices that completely satisfy the
customers. Job was obsessed with producing the products that are way beyond the thought
process of customers.
Every product introduced by the company is innovative and creative.
The leadership of the Tim Cook was considered to be transparent, calm and collaborative.
Apple faces congress over taxes, Tim Cook went to Washington to protect the claims on the
company for avoiding the tax paying (El-Adly, 2019).
Clear vision
Job have a clear vision on what the company needs next. The customers love the deceives
that are the game changer. Job never replicate or copy other devices, he has a unique though
process that help him develop the best and unique devices and applications for the use of the
customers.
Interpersonal skills- this type of skill is all about the people which is being able to build
a successful relationship with other one. To lead a team, it will need to earn the respect of
colleagues. Setting time aside to get and know about the team members.
Communication and Motivation skill- It is helping to establish a better coordination
with other staff members. In order to motivate other team members for achieving its
desirable goal or objective.
Strengths and weakness of Steve Jobs and Tim Cook in managing complexity
and leading changes.
Strengths of Steve Job
Steve Jobs have a vision that is unique in many ways. The company experience many
changes to achieve the success. Apple releases different and innovative devices and the
applications of the time. The ideas were innovative but simple for the easy use of the device by
the customers. That leads the company to grow so big (Tanoe, 2019).
