This business plan is focused on developing a cafeteria in the city of New York, United States of America. 5 BUSINESS PLAN Operation plan The operation plan of the startup business includes day to day information about business activities. Serving coffee and additional beverage is the main purpose of this cafe. In the initial stage, the organisation has to pay for the equipment for the cafeteria. The products include a coffee machine, different grinders, chair, table, reception desk, etc. In addition to that, the payment for the employees for the first year of the business will be part of the financial investment. The fresh raw material of the organisation will be delivered regularly by suppliers. Producing the product for the customer is not an elongated process for a cafeteria (Hopp & Greene, 2018). Making the coffee is work for a few minutes. Although the different beverages which will be solved need some additional time it is also minimal. The product and services of Star Cafe is part of the operational plan. The customers have to pay just after finishing their coffee and snacks and before leaving the cafeteria (Blackwell, 2017). Developing the market plan is always considered as one of the major steps for a start-up business. The few market objectives of Star Cafe are: The organisation wants to gain a profit of 8% in the next 3 years of business development. For reaching to the customer, daily discounts will be provided in the initial stage of this business development. For instance, the repeat customers will get a 10% discount after their third visit. Future business opportunities in other parts of New York are part of the marketing plan of Star Café (McKeever, 2016). The promotional activities of this organisation include digital media promotions, newspaper advertisements and the use of posters and banners infamous shopping malls of New York.

The company will also use system through which it track its orders and will get to know about its current updates helping management to operate the business in an evident manner. The company will also use its operational plan to effectively implement an effective ERP system to measure the operational activities of the firm. 8 BUSINESS PLAN Management and organisational Plan The management team is considered as the essential requirement of a business plan. This business plan of cafeteria includes different management personalities like the general manager, assistant manager and head of the kitchen stuff. General manager-The general manager of the cafe has a specific responsibility related to the accounts and supervising the other areas (Gabler, Panagopoulos, Vlachos & Rapp, 2017). Assistant manager-The assistant manager has several responsibilities related to the inventory management, customer satisfaction and best quality of service providing. For managing the inventory, the assistant manager has to communicate with put the suppliers and kitchen staffs. In addition to that, understanding the demand and satisfaction level of the customer by regular monitoring is part of his responsibilities. Finally, an overview in the services is provided by the organisation and products are also taken care of by him (Chambers & Humble, 2017). Head of the kitchen staff-The organisation offers the quickest delivery of food and beverage. Therefore, for monitoring the kitchen activities of Star Cafe, the head of the kitchen staff has to play a unique role and responsibility.
