The objective of the process diagram is tounderstand process, people, inputs, controls and output.2.Knowledge Work BusinessDictionary.com (2018) defines knowledge work as a method aiming at theimprovement of a business performance using available knowledge. Knowledge workersperform critical roles to an organization’s growth strategy. They act as the organizationalinternal think tanks and consultants in line with their areas of knowledge. They also push forthe organization’s change considering the changes in the current business environment bykeeping the business in current business knowledge. Eyl (2018) asserts that a knowledgeworker is tasked with the role of identifying how the end goals of the organization are to beachieved given clear ideas (the “what” and the “why”). 3.Business process problem- Gap modelAlso known as customer service gap model, this is an example of business process modelthat focuses mainly on the customer service helping the organization to understand theircustomers and offer quality and superior products that satisfy their customers’ needs morethan the competitor’s.
