EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Business game is one of the important concept that will lead to understand the concept of
business and its various aspects. Running of the business is also depended upon various aspects
and out of them the major one is strategic decision. This report summarizes various strategic
decisions that was taken on the basis of the making an analysis of the relevant data regarding
sales, marketing and various other concepts. This report also summarizes the aspect of making an
analysis of the external and the internal environment. The report would make an analysis that
how with the mode of adoption of various emerging technology the company can grab various
advantages and success.

INTRODUCTION
TASK 1
Major strategic decisions made during the six-round BSG simulation
There were Various Kinds of strategic decisions that were taken during the game based
upon current situation and results of previous rounds. Some of the main types of strategic
decisions that were taken during the BSG simulation game are as follows:
Round 1: In first round company had focused upon producing 44 percent of new pair of footwear
and used six sigma and TQM method for management of high quality of products developed by
them company/ but this production and quality management of products developed were done
only in North America Facility and Asia- Pacific faculty. Expenditure upon different types of
marketing was done. This directly related to strategic objectives of the organization which was
to enhance sales of their organization. Outcome of celebrity endorsement was that it helped in
enhancement of sales of organization
Round 2: In second year company took decision of increasing retail price of products developed
and took decision of not providing free shipping to the customers. This affected their sales
because their retail price of products was a bit higher from their competitors and some of them
even provided free shipping to their customers. Not only this in fact in Latin America faculty
company took decision of constructing additional space. Expenditure upon Celebrity
Endorsements was done to increase overall sales. it was directly related to strategic objective
which was to enhance sales and profitability. Outcome of this decision was increasing production
and enhanced sales.
Round 3: In third year company took decision of purchasing new equipment’s in Latin America
Faculty. This decision was taken on the basis of main decision taken by the company in previous
year of expanding additional space for working. it was directly related to strategic objective
which was to expand overall production of increased profitability. Purchasing new equipment’s
increased production of organization.
Round 4: in this year company took decision of selling some equipment’s in Asia- Pacific faculty
as additional space construction was not done in previous years and no improvement within
products were done. it was directly related to strategic objective which was to enhance
profitability and reduce expenditure.

Round 5: In this year company took decision of bringing improvement within S/Q rating increase
in various facilities and even constructed additional space at some of the facilities. Due to this
they further took decision of refurbishing some of their equipment’s in various facilities so that
improvement within overall quality of their products can be brought. it was directly related to
strategic objective which was to enhance overall quality of the production.
Round 6: every year some expenditure on Celebrity Endorsements was done by the company but
in this round no expenditure was done upon Celebrity Endorsements. not only this contract of
other celebrities was also cancelled ands was not extended.
Reflection
Round 1 stood out of all the six rounds because in this round no expenditure upon
Celebrity Endorsements was done. Not only this, in this round expenditure upon CSRC
Initiatives was also ignored. This was the only round where new equipment’s were purchased
and in remaining all the other years either no equipment’s were purchased or either equipment’s
were refurbished or sales (Enos and et.al., 2019). From this BSG simulation one of the main
lessons that was learnt was that it is extremely important for the company to take important
decisions every year as results of decision taken in one year can directly impact results and
operations of organization another year because of which sales and production of organization at
different faculties can also be impacted in many different ways. It has also been learnt that there
are many different kinds of marketing methods or strategies that are important to be adopted
because it can directly help organization in enhancing their overall sales.
TASK 2
Swot model
The swot model enables to specifically bring on competent vision for harnessing
structural working competencies innovatively, which further synchronizes specific growth
engagement actively. Company H has been significantly evolving to bring on strengthened
vision, where the developed rise can be analysed by evaluating internal business factors.
Swot factors are as follows: Strengths: The brand has strength of the best international expansion functionally new
extended market base, where company further has been evolving towards determined
significant goals worked on (Kumar and et.al., 2018). Strength of new range vision, high
authentic customization a keen optimized efficacy can be understood to be also one of the

most authentic parameter rapidly. The strength of brand engagement on international
levels, has been found to be one of the key strength where determined optimized efficacy
can be evolved on for extended time period. Weaknesses: The company weaknesses is related with high range of new commercial
competencies, where the business has to be further taken up new analysis goals. The
competitive industry has been grown on towards delivering huge rise on optimum levels,
and evolve on towards new paradigms further by taking up new investments (Varghese
and Buyya 2018). Opportunities: There is also significant new opportunities for gaining higher marketing
engagement, through social media platforms which will synchronize the best technical
determined benchmarks actively.
 Threats: The company H is also facing threat of increase capital pressure, and new range
of commercial exposure rising where there has to be significant new active investments
done. With changing pace, new technology machineries have to be optimized on for
strengthened working vision for expanding among wider pathways.
Porter 5 force model
The model will be discussing analysis of all 5 forces, where company has to further
prioritize the best aspects connected towards growth related towards competitive business
environment goals.
 Competitive rivalry : The company H faces competitive rivalry with increased new
investments coming up among business environment within industry, and also there is
rising specific aspect connected to bring on extended determined market pace. Threat of substitution. The company H has medium threat of substitution, where the
products and services have significant new technical scope for reaching untapped
determined pace (Alam, 2021). Threat of new entry : New threats from entrants are also increasingly becoming one of
the major parameter where company has further scope to expand new investments. Bargaining power of customers: This refers to the power of buyers in terms of making a
reduction of prices. In case of Company H the power is strong in terms of making a

reduction in prices with the aspect of making a purchase of substitutes from other
competitors.
 Bargaining power of suppliers: It is the supplier’s power in terms of enabling products
to company. In case of Company H the bargaining power of suppliers are low because of
the present of large number of suppliers and company can make purchase of product and
raw material from any suppliers (Srivastava and Khan, 2018).
MISSION : To reach new international untapped markets and enhance operative vision, with
high range mechanism innovation goals.
Vision: To design higher authentic innovation in company commercial parameters, based on
optimum domains and investments done in keen expertise has to be evolved on further.
Values
: To invest in social responsibility, sustainable supply chains etc and further enhance on
operative vision for competent work engagement :
Corporate objectives: Achieve by Year 2022, a market share of [25% in untapped
international market.
PESTEL Analysis — PESTEL analysis for the company H is described as -
Political — The government interferes with the economy which helps in knowing that there is
political interference of the government which impacts the company (Perera 2017). this also
influences the company H policies and practices. There are various taxation policies which
impacts the growth and development of the company H affecting its processes. There is political
interference also includes trade restrictions which for the business which company H works on.
Economic — The wholesale market for the business which company H corresponds with helps
in knowing that how effectively the economy is being affected. There are various production
facilities which are being worked upon in the economy and are considered at large scale. This
creates the scale of business and helps in knowing that how the company H is being working
with the global economic system.
Social — The branded footwear production of company H is considered at large scale and this
includes the gender and the age group of people who are involved within the social setting (Frue

2020). This also helps in knowing the business within North America, Europe Africa, Asia
Pacific, Latin America facility which helps in the business within the age group and the gender
which are involved in.
Technological — The internet marketing decisions are being taken by the company H which
helps in enhancing the scale of facilities and helps in knowing the basis of how the production of
footwear is concerned with the individuals. Search engine ads are being created for the products
to be placed within the market for the customers. This helps in the business as to how the
company H is being concerned about the products and services (Weberience, 2017).
Environmental — The environmental factors are important for the consideration of the business.
Company H is concerned about the environmental and sustainable growth and development of
the business so that they are able to work on effective marketing with taking concern of the
environment at large scale and not harming it.
Legal — There are changes within the legal laws and legislation which are considered for the
business of how the company H is taking concern as to how effectively and in appropriate
manner as to how effectively and in appropriate manner the laws and legislation are being
followed. The legal laws and terms are considered with the upscale of how the company H is
selling its products and services.
TASK 3
Technology is one of the important aspect with regard to every business. This means in
order to stay in the market and win the competitive position it is important that the concerned
company would move as per the changing technology and its trends. There are various emerging
trends which may have an impact towards the company and its working. The emerging
technology would include the cloud based computing, robotics, Artificial intelligence, and
various other. With regard to the concerned company i.e. Company H the most emerging and
widely needed technology would include the adoption and implementation of the concept of
cloud computing that would enable the company to make storage of the data along with making
an analysis of it (Turner and et.al.,2018). This will also assist the taking of decision on the basis
of the analysis of the data. The concept of cloud computing would guide the company to make
decision at the faster rate along with the concept of storage of data. As in every organization it is
highly important that the most appropriate decision would be taken because they will actually

guide the company to restore its position. In the same way it is to be noted that with the taking of
decision the company need to make an analysis of various data and information. With the aspect
of cloud computing the Company H would perform various function in an easy manner in terms
of making collection of data along with its evaluation. This will lead to help the company in
taking of most suitable decision that is important for its growth and success.
Along with above benefits the company would also grab the advantage in terms of
flexibility, recovery of data, no maintenance cost, easy access and various other. This means
through the mode of adoption of cloud computing the Company H would be benefited in terms
of making the adequate evaluation of data. In the same way through this technology the company
can make deal at the wider level in terms of easy access to data and taking of right decision with
the right evaluation of it (Alvarez and et.al., 2019). This is one of the important technology and
concept that will also enable the competitive advantage to the company in terms of moving
ahead while making it compared with its competitors. This will also lead to make understanding
of the need of customers so that the company would along with determining the customers need
would also take relevant decision and making an inculcation of that information. This will lead to
raise the company’s sales and profitability.
However, on a critical note it is to be noted that although cloud computing will lead to assist
the company in many ways but at the same with the aspect of raising of cybercrimes and data
threats it would lead to negatively impact the concerned company. This shows that the
movement of the company as per the changing technology would be important but at the same
time it will lead to negatively impacted if no precautionary measures will be taken off. This is
also applicable in case of cloud computing wherein the data threat would be present (Enos and
et.al., 2019).

Recommendations — There are some basic recommendations which are to be considered and
placed important as -

 The finance and cash flow of the company H should be taken into form as to how
effectively and in appropriate manner it can be maintained.
 Policies and framework for the marketing should be followed for the products and
services which are to be delivered successfully within the market by company H.
 Formulation of strategies is important in knowing the basis as to how the production and
process of selling of footwear should take place in effective manner possible.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that the above business game would play an
important role in terms of making an understanding of the data and the company’s operation.
With the above game it is also understood that with the mode of making an analysis of the
internal, external and completive environment the company would be benefited in terms of
taking of most suitable business decision. The aspect of moving with the technology is also
summarized in this report.
