INTRODUCTION
Job opportunity provides personal and professional development and creates growth
opportunities for an individual in future. It is helpful in learning and increasing knowledge
regularly, the job opportunities enhance the skills and abilities of an individual for getting better
growth opportunities in that field. Marketing career can be explained as the reliability of an
individual to explore, create and deliver values for full feeling of the overall requirements of the
target market by providing the services and commodities of the organisation to the people as per
their requirement. The person who has more opportunities for growth in future must have a
suitable career action plan that supports their overall growth. Career and job opportunities are
highly interconnected because the growth of career helps to create better job opportunities and
vice versa. There are many skills and abilities that must be acquired by an individual for
developing a good career in a given field offer. There are many skills and abilities such as
communication skills, problem solving, interpersonal skills, adaptability, and leadership that are
required by an individual in the marketing profession. Certain knowledge such as organisational
knowledge, product knowledge, technical knowledge and conceptual knowledge are very
important for performing marketing activities of an organisation. This report covers a personal
analysis, career action plan, career Viewpoint and the LinkedIn profile of the marketing
profession.
MAIN BODY
PERSONAL ANALYSIS
Personal analysis can be explained as the phase where an individual tries to identify their
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Personal analysis is helpful to identify critical
skills, abilities and knowledge that an individual already possesses and that an individual
requires to develop.
My current skills and abilities include communication, problem solving, creativity,
interpersonal skill, adaptability, organisational skills, product knowledge, technical skills and
leadership that are very necessary for me to pursue my marketing profession/career. I have
developed communication skills by communicating with the people and fellows for improving

the ways in which I interact with them. I developed communication skills by interacting with
colleagues, employees and exchanging ideas with them. I have developed my problem solving
activities by participating in the employee grievance activities for solving their problems. I have
also developed interpersonal skills by constantly engaging with the colleague members, leaders,
employees and managers for improving interpersonal relations. I think my organisational skills
have also enhanced because I started to take part in decision making activities and problem
solving in the organisation. I also have developed adaptability that is very important to adapt in
the dynamic situations across the market as well as in the industry. These skills are like stepping
stones that would be helpful with my marketing career. I have also learnt about time
management for performing many activities simultaneously without losing the deadlines. I have
developed many skills and abilities that are required by a marketing professional within the
industry. I came to know about many new concepts and knowledge that I was unaware about in
the earlier times, which have helped me to evolve for gaining higher level of knowledge and
skills. I have also developed knowledge about different technical aspects such as information
communication technology, social media marketing etc. that can be helpful to enhance growth in
my marketing career.
I came to know about different concepts that can be helpful for enhancing growth and
development in the marketing profession. It is necessary to obtain every possible knowledge
from every perspective of my experience that can be helpful for providing growth opportunities
in the future codes of action. Most of the organisations are using digital marketing platforms and
information communication systems for enhancing the marketing activities and developing the
knowledge about various. Before getting into the marketing profession it is very compulsory to
develop skills and abilities that can be helpful for providing personal and professional growth
through experience in the marketing field. Foreign dancing in my marketing profession various
skills training and development activities have been provided so that better abilities for the
marketing profession can be achieved. It is important that I focus on various aspects of personal
and professional development for enhancing my abilities and skills for having a bright career in
the marketing profession. I think that the professional skills and abilities will be helpful to
provide knowledge about the marketing activities in the corporate world and how an individual
can succeed in the marketing profession.

Strengths
My abilities in communication and interpersonal skills are highly appreciable because I
am very comfortable developing good relationships with the people and interacting with them
very easily, which is very important in the marketing profession. I am very systematic and
punctual because of my abilities of time management that are very good and it will be helpful in
managing my work effectively and achieving the targets before deadlines.
Weaknesses
The main weaknesses that I feel can hinder my marketing profession are technical skills
because I have recently come across various technical skills such as digital technology, ITC, etc.
that will require time to be developed efficiently. I require practice, training and development
activities for adjusting my cell phone with the use of technology in the marketing activities.
Opportunities
As I am in the marketing field, there are many opportunities for me to grow knowledge
